Do some of you not even get mad anymore? I watched this entire game with zero emotion. My wife kept asking what was wrong. I'm usually cussing and throwing the cat when we lose but tonight I just chuckled and made a big Jethro sized bowl of froot-loops. I guess I've just checked out this season.

That's how I know that I've turned on Butch. This didn't bother me nearly as much as last week.

Yeah, my GF thinks it is hilarious to watch me flip out over games. Tonight she was disappointed.

It used to would ruin my day, but I've become numb to it at this point.

The bad plays bothered me but I had no reactions to the positive ones, at least not in the 2nd half. I was excited at first, but by mid 2nd quarter it was gone and never returned.

Last week I was texting my buddies and going nuts. Tonight I got one text and it was just "Vols, lol". You can see it on the fans faces that were at the game. The camera showed a section on the next to last drive and nobody was making a sound on 3rd down with arky driving.

Going to go back to what I told my unit in Iraq. Expect the worse and hope for the best. No point in getting upset week in and week out.

And now the coaching staff needs to go into a huddle to figure out who the four teams are left on the schedule that the team can beat to get bowl eligible...got, at least, keep the bowl streak going...Birmingham looks good right now don't you think?:thud:

I'm thinking that's kinda where I'm going to be for the UGA game. It's pretty much a definite loss, but, I'll be interested to see what our braintrust can come up with to try to keep it close.

You guys know I'm not a negavol, but, just, dayum. I'm hoping the team can just hold it together through UGA and UA.

I can relate to each of you. Never moved from the couch and not a sound made. I'm tired of this bs but I have come to expect it. Oh well, we'll get um next time! :mf_surrender:

personally, I'm kinda at that point again where it's obvious we'll never be great with the current coach. Then the players start to hear the criticism and stop competing 100%. I certainly wanted to win tonight...but you reach the point where you're not as disappointed because the loss might get you closer to that reality. Had we win this one and finished a dismal 6-7 or something like that...he's liable to get a raise from that total idiot from bama that hired him.

I'm still stuck in the "denial" stage of my grief. "We can't suck this bad. Surely we'll make some adjustments at halftime. ......" But a few more like tonight and maybe I won't get mad either.

It is starting to be funny that we are this pathetic with the level of talent on this team.

I'm still watching the games, but I don't get mad any more. It just isn't worth the energy. Until we get a real coach in here things aren't going to change, so why should I bother? Definitely not worth spending the money to go to the game.

Last week really took the wind outta the sails for this season. I think it did for much of the fan base, and honestly, much of the team as well.

Admit it...... You throw the cat every time your wife isn't around
