I teared up at the end tonight. I became a UT fan at the end of Majors carrer here so Fulmer is really the only UT coach I have ever known.
Seeing him get carried out tonight really choked me up. I wish I could have been in Knoxville to see it in person.

I clapped here at home and I *knew* the players would lift him onto their shoulders, I was just hoping ESPN wouldn't cut away before it happened.
I agree.I think it was emotional for anyone has has followed Tennessee football for an extended period of time. Glad to see him go off in style.
The assertion that Phillip "is" Tennessee Football, though, is belittling our University, and it's a statement that I'm certain he would disagree with, as well. That's the kind of man he is. He knows and appreciates his place in UT history.

It'll certainly be strange, at least for a game or two, seeing someone else on the sidelines.
