I would ditch the tight sets and run from the gun more. Some of their better runs have came from this and you obviously are not going to line up and mash the ball. I would go 3-4 wide all night and play off the pass.

I think this is what you're probably going to see from here on out. It's clear we just aren't going to run it from the I.

I was wondering how many outside zones/toss sweeps we had to run for negative yardage before they'd finally stop calling them. Seems like there was at least a little success when they hit it straight ahead.

I don't know about ditching the tight ends totally but everytime we go with the fullback and bray under center they run it almost everytime and almost everytime it doesn't work. Just seems like its very predictable. I agree about running more out of the shotgun. Seems like it would keep them more honest because everytime we do run it's seems obvious but i'm definitely a TV coach:peace2:

Those ridiculously dumb toss-freaking-sweeps have to go!!! Chaney seriously ran one to the right and then the very next play ran one to the left. one gained four, the other lost four.

Oh and those plays in the first quarter where Poole would run straight up Stone's back.... Let's ditch those too.
