I really thought we would win. Just 10 yards to the left and we are throwing goal posts in the river. That being said, some years ago I had a 6 foot level putt for $1000 with $500 in my pocket that I missed. 😳

(1) GA is a NC team that we almost beat. No solace however.
(2) GA took advantage of our freshman corner all night.
(3) GA run game is outstanding. I thought we did as well as any team that will play them.
(4) Calling for our coaches is what got us here in the first place, so stop.
(5) After watching this game and getting over my emotions of a loss, I am very happy with where the program is going. Kirby didn't get it done in 4 years. I am willing to wait.

The criticism of the coaches is silly... outside of probably the defense on the 2-point conversion (what was that), I didn't seen any major coaching decisions. There are items I may have done different but could understand the decision at the time.

I thought the coaching was well. We do have a issue with our defenders not being able to close well on runners in backfield or running outside. That came up against Syracuse as well. Closing speed is just not there from talent standpoint.

Yep I sure am willing to wait. Still think we got the right guy! Tough loss to swallow but it’s early in the season and everybody knows UT gonna be tough to beat.

The 4th qtr TD pass by Ga was just a great play. No DB can defend that.

TR did have a tough day but he is going to be an all sec DB.

I love Josh, but he got a bit too conservative with a chance to go up two scores after the fumble recovery, and he kind of intimated as much after the game. My biggest problem was his not trusting the offense to run one more play after the false start, centering the ball and keeping Max in rhythm in a huge spot like that.

But anyone who is calling for heads to roll right now is a completely clueless fool. No more moral victories, and we damn well should have finished the deal today, but Josh has this program at pretty much an elite level at this point, with some high level talent on the way.

Kirby won the SEC championship in his 2nd year. That’s getting it done. He is a very good coach and an excellent recruiter! That being said, I don’t want CJH gone by any means, he got conservative today against one of the best and it bit him. Kirby inherited a FAR better situation than CJH but today still was still very painful, we had it…almost. CJH has far exceeded anyone’s reasonable expectations. I hope we see these dogs again this year or early next with all our starters!!!

GO VOLS!!!
