I used to get like that every time I would go out on a date with a new chick.

Now I realize they are all crazy so, just like with our last three flings, I’m just like meh, let’s wait and see.

Sh$% show not withstanding, I am really looking forward to the coming season. As always, I am perfectly fine trading 3 losses to beat the gators. God, I hate Florida.
If we beat Floriduh then give CJH an extension in year 1.

It’s Swamp Stomping time. We are in the East and they are in the East. It’s a win we need. For the longest it’s been about Alabama, the new format has placed more emphasis on Florida and Georgia. It’s time to start some streaks on them.

What better year than 2021?

I’m really looking forward to this fall and know, “It’s Football Time in Tennessee and all across the lands.”.

"New format"

What year are you living in?

If we can resemble Ole Miss’s squad from last year, and we certainly have indications that we can, we will have good reason for excitement. If they’d had the luxury of the 3 annual scrub games, they would have won 8 games in Kiffins first year, and they slugged it out with Bama better than anyone.

The Vols have been playing football for a long time. 100 years of Volunteers came out 30 years ago. So for the 1st 100 years no SECG.

Would you endorse “relatively new format”?
lol ok. Do you want to debate Yale fans about who has a better football history? Stop.

I am excited as well. I believe we will surprise some this year.
I mean we are going to have an offense.. I feel people don’t understand fully how bad of an offense we have had in past years. Chaney was a terrible hire. We’ve might of had the worst starting qb in college football. We are gonna put up yards and we are gonna score. The huge issue here is people are going to get too excited! ... when in reality it’s just really going to be our baseline football next year ? Does that make sense. This fan base is going to eat up a basic spread offense and it’s going to be a joke

So the guys behind the worst QB in all of football are going to blow it out? I don't think highly of CJP. I think CJC is a good offensive mind. I can confidently say they know more then me about football and QB. But you feel optimistic? We are ****ed for three years at best.

I am similar but would trade 3 losses for a win over those hideous dawgs - especially if it knocked them out of contention for the East. I love the sound of Bulldogs whining in late November.

No not optimistic.. but I’m aware that the offense is going to look much better and we will be using the entire field offensively..unlike in previous years. I’m not sure it effects our record though. That’s kinda where I stand..not sure CJH helps Tennessee in any way

Keep thinking it was Chaney’s fault. That’s a spirit.

I’m mean I get we aren’t Georgia but the last 2 years have been a disgrace. He was the highest paid oc in college football. He had to take some blame. He has too
Now the entire coaching inner circle needs are a different story. Pruitt was an a hole to people. We all know this by now but there has to be some accountability on someone other than Pruitt... imo

A bad boss is hard to overcome. The guy that got fired on the field probably was trying to do the right thing.

I hadn’t considered this possibility but this is a really good thought. He may have been the only guy to go “Coach the defensive scheme is too complex, I’m simplifying it for the line”…….. that combined with our D-line causing us to fumble and throw 2 pick 6’s……… and he got the axe.

I'm amazed by how freely so many are discarding their cups. Seriously though, the schedule this year is much better than next year @ LSU, @UGA, @Pitt, plus the other usual suspects, Bama and UF for starters.
