Anyone remember that one from years back? First year of Franchonie at aTm with a lot of hype coming in. That one was so bad, the program was never able to really recover under his leadership.

I've got this feeling something similar may be waiting. Florida 52 Tennessee 0 would smart for awhile. I do think they will score as many points as they possibly can, and I'd imagine the focus for them defensively is to get a shutout to rub salt in the wound. Fun times on the Hill.

Kiffin said you guys would be singing Rocky Top in the swamp this year...don't be doubting "the man"

yeah except urban's not as much of a douche as Stoops; and alot of that high a score had to do with aTm having terrible defense too...not just a bad offense

Our D will keep it respectable in the Swamp......Urban will not be able to run it up!

I really doubt that.

if he were that much, he would have already been talking smack, or perhaps a better example, it would have been more than 30-6 last year

i feel stoops with a good team tries to run up scores more than meyer does with a good team. that said i still dislike them both

no chance of beating florida with crompton under center.... and yes meyer is that much of a douche, calling timeouts to get one more TD/FG at the end of the game a la the GA game last year with the game already decided

He was joking. Mike Hamilton told him to say that.

Dude, you really need to let go of this. Continuing to defend the statement as "shucks, I was just kidding" is bush league, IMO. He said it, and there's no way to spin it down. The Gators will take great motivation from that statement, along with the comments about Urban and Nuke...as if they needed extra mo.

He said it, now he has to back it up.

The Gators shouldn't need that motivation if they're as good as everyone thinks they are.

They don't need it. But it gives them just an extra edge for utter destruction on a personal level that may not have been there otherwise.

What did Fulmer say before the '07 game that made Urban so angry that he decided to run up 59 on UT?

yeah but there's a bit of a difference between calling a timeout to get one more field goal, and what's actually being a douchebag like spurrier did in hocking hail mary's when the game's already won or running up the score to get over 50 points against UGA just for giggles in front of the mike afterwards

Not to mention Meyer called the two timeouts to get our 3rd string RB 2 extra carries from about mid-field. Hardly RUTS, I would say.

I believe after Kiffin's quote in the first press conference he said...

Just Kidding Urban...Hamilton told me to say that.

But I hope TN beats the h*ll out of them.

This week we will be coming in in a similar way that UCLA came into our house Saturday.

Overconfidence sucks, and I think the players and the FANS were way to optimistic against UCLA, and now we will see what it's like to be big underdogs on the road.
