I was happy, then sad...Change of emotion so quickly can harm one's health. Lets start a riot.

it was still the right call

Not really. Think, They're at LSU. If they were at Neyland, wouldn't even of came up. Anyways it was a bad snap, having 13 guys or howmany had no effect whatsoever.

it was still the right half-call

fixed it. you cant only call fouls on one side. they (refs) keep saying everyweek how they strive to get calls right and not have them negatively affect outcome.
if they went to the headset to review, why didnt they take more time and get it all correct?
i know that the too many men call is right but, as a ref, you gotta take time and get it right

doesn't matter. You can't have 13 players on the field. Period.

LSU player threw helmet... shouldve been the same yardage rather than move him up to the 1 ...

It was, but if you're going to go back after time expired and call that, don't you have to call the LSU player for throwing his helmet?

It's not killing me though because we lost the game on that 4th and 14. PITIFUL!

What about #50 taking his helmet off and slinging it about 10yrds?! No one called that it waz on the same play with 14player's!! Therefor its susposed to off set em... This is bull!

Edit: Fyi, while the play was still going...

Venue has nothing to do with right and wrong.

So was the "I didn't see the LSU guy take off his helmet and slam it to the ground" penalty that was ignored after the play?

They call that and it's a dead ball penalty. You penalize the live ball foul (illegal participation), then penalize the unsporting foul. One untimed down from the 15.5 yard line.

Huge officiating mistake. Expect another apology from Roger Redding and Mike Slive.

the too many men on the field call would probably been offset with the player taking his helmet off so lsu would have probably gotten another play anyway. i'm as upset about this loss as anyone but this one is on the coaches, not the refs.

I'm not being sarcastic when I ask this, but do you really think they would?

the too many men on the field call is a dead ball dead ball foul so whatever happened after the snap doesn't matter. i'm as upset about this loss as anyone but this one is on the coaches, not the refs.

No doubt. You can't give up that 4th and 14 and expect anything good to happen.

I know the game can't end on a defensive penalty, it was reviewed upstairs with no flag on the field, so the game also can't end on an "upstairs review" too ?

It wasn't a bad snap! The QB was looking away because the line wasn't set~The right side of the line was still standing!
