ESPN is probably just tired of whining Tennessee fans. It's hard to side with a bunch of fans who whine so much.

It sux. We lost. It was the MCB. Who really cares?

The K-State call was even more bogus, imo. It happens.

The bowl was about getting more practice time for next season and it looked like our staff used the time fairly well, imo.

And you didnt whine about UT hiring Dooley?

And you didnt whine about UT hiring Dooley?

That's different from whining about the Music City Bowl.

One is meaningless game that is over forever. The other is a six year contract following a three day rush to judgment by an AD who has proven he is incompetent.

The later is the correct focus for the UT fanbase. Getting rid of Hamilton should now be the priority.

The missed PAT killed us, true. However, what if they spiked the ball with one second and scored a TD instead of kicking a FG to tie?
what if? Hell we can't cry they won.... the whole world watching saw the replay they added the 1 sec back to the clock...

So, when a ref calls the game over, you are saying its not really over and you can keep playing?

Yeah it reminds me of when you are shooting hoops in the driveway as a kid. You do the we are down by 1 with 3 seconds to go as you are pretending to take final shot. 3...2...1... and if you miss oh wait HE WAS FOULED!!!!! Refs can make any game play out the way they need or want!

if you didn't see the replay where he clearly spiked the ball with 1 sec left your to blind to worry about it any way!

What you dont get is it is a mute point. The ref called the game over. Therefore, according to the rule, no replay can be viewed because the game is officially over.

Yeah the time clock is the issue here. How can you snap the ball and spike it and not 1 the only 1 second tick off??? That is kind of odd don't you think? I feel the ref should have said do to clock malfunction game is over. When shot clocks and play clocks mess up. Refs have kept time hundreds of times. I am guessing they could have overruled the game clock.

The right call results in a true freshman attempting a 50 yard field goal foe the tie. The right call absolutely was not made.

Continuing with the ESPN hates us theme. Anyone else notice the 4/5 cutaways only when TN was on offense to the AWESOME UCONN vs. STANFORD game on ESPN 2. THE 90 GAME WIN STREAK ON THE LINE. Like i give a flying rats a$$ about UCONN when were driving to go on top. They know we hate Geno and UCONN period so they shoved that crap in our face @ a crucial game time. That got me pissed off before all the BS happened @ the end of the game. Not sure bout you guys........

I must agree with you. ESPN knows generally womens basketball is not that followed by Males that watch football as a whole. Womens basketball is more beloved by Butch females that like other Butch females. I suppose I am suggesting they should have interrupted The L Word on a premium channel.

Right. The holder and kicker weren't lined up behind the line or anything.

the amusing part was the kicker and holder lined up behind their qb. Yates was dumbfounded what to do.

1) They had 12 in formation and they all participated in the spike play...thats a 15 yd penalty. Correctly called, this would have forced a 50 yd attempt into the wind.

2) As well, they had 3-4 running to the sideline to get off the field, that is 12 men on the filed rule, and a 5 yd penalty.

Exactly what I was refering to earlier when I said the ref should have stood over the ball when their FG unit was coming on to allow us to get our FG unit in therefore running all the time off the clock.

Therefore, the spike should have never been allowed, ending the game
