I'm feelin' it

So you don't think the coaching staff did ANY of the stuff you talked about before the UCLA game?

You don't think they knew Crompton had the potential to be that bad before the UCLA game? You think they can undo all his issues, a senior at that, in 5 days?

On top of that, do you think Florida's coaching staff and players are just sitting around playing 360 and not even doing anything?

You're Jim Jones crazy my friend.

My 1,000th post will be "I told you so." :p

Ok, here's how we get Crompton going in the Florida game. We threaten him with the fact that if he sucks it up, Serena Williams is going to shove that ball down his ****** throat.

I hope you're feeling is accurate....barring intervention from above or an actual real live qb for us...I don't see it. Go Vols.

I had a funny feeling all last week we were going to lose to UCLA. My head said we were going to stomp the Bruins, but I had an uneasy feeling in my stomach that something was about to go very bad.

But, this week it's different. I know in my head we should get soundly beaten, but I also just have this "feeling"--some sort of strange confidence--that we're going to pull out a very surprising upset this week.

I may be WAY off, and probably am, but I feel positive about Saturday for some unknown reason, and I prefer to keep thinking that way.

it's the benefit of being the underdog, you have nothing to lose saying this because everyone else expects to lose. There are always a few fans who "feel" this way before a huge matchup. You'll over-analyze every little aspect of the game to benefit your feeling, too. If you think Florida isn't more talented than UCLA was on defense you're drinking more than kool-aid. If you think they don't want to beat you more than anybody else they play all year, and that they are focused on nothing less, you're crazy. If you all want to try and put all the blame on Crompton thats cool, but the truth is you wouldn't win this weekend with the Peyton Manning of 97 taking snaps.

I am feelin' it to, but you have to score points to win. If our defense plays as tough as it is capable of then a 10-3 game is not out of the question.

I know what you mean. I kept hearing everyone picking us to win, even when crazy Holtz said ''No way Tennessee is going to lose to UCLA" ...I just didn't feel right about it..I know that had nothing to do with it, but I never did like all the ''experts'' picking us to win easily.

we have the same 60 minutes to decide that as they do.
It's a far better chance this year because we aren't ''working like heck'' and ''watching the film'' before we comment and all that other crap.
Never underestimate the heart of a BY GOD TENNESSEE VOLUNTEER!!! GO VOLS beat those filthy gators!!!
Go vols! Beat florida!

Im with ya

The Rebels won last year in the Swamp as 24 point dogs.

I have to conserve my posts. I want number 1,000 to be the final score of the TN win this weekend (1001 will be telling VolsSportsFan "I told you so" :cool2:). Keep it going, though.

This TN team has the tools to beat FL this weekend. There will be a solution for our QB woes. The defense is gonna shine. The running game will persevere and the OLine will create time and holes. They're not gonna know what hit 'em. There is no way this TN team loses this weekend. Mark it down, and try not to act surprised when it happens.

Vols by 3.
