I want to make an apology to some members of VN. There are more but specifically catbone, countvolcula, armchair and wylo. Let me explain. I was a full supporter of Butch and thought that he needed time and with it would do great things for Tennessee football. I was on the 'Butch gets it" wagon. Also, I thought anyone who was critical or said some negative things about Butch were negavols or idiots. And I actually called them these names on this board.

I am sorry people. Truly I am. I honestly thought you guys were acting idiotic. Now I see the error of my ways. Like i said I know there are other members with whom I have been a jackazz too over Butch Jones and to those please forgive me. I honestly did not think he would be this bad.

I had a nice dinner with the family and friends. Let the kids play and have fun in the mall afterward. I didn't want to waste another Saturday.

I started my boycott today. I feel pretty good right now. Didn't see a second but could tell you exactly what happened. Double digit lead, complacency, no adjustments after halftime, questionable play calling, questionable in-game management, and close loss.

This boycott is not just Tennessee football, however, because if I can't have my UT as a competent program, I'm not watching any college football. In other words, fork everybody else with a ragged, rusty pipe.

I'll tune back in and care after the university hires someone that has a lick of God dang sense or Dummy decides to act like a professional head coach making $3mm+ instead of an amateur who doesn't know his azz from a hole in the ground.

And to those that feel compelled to say good riddance in response, enjoy being miserable schmucks that are like mindless sheep being lead to the slaughter. Oh, and, you can suck it.

I'd love to know where people get the idea that denying the football team funding is somehow going to make them better.

Your apology for having no balls and not being willing to ride the storm of rebuilding a completely depleted program with zero depth is heartfelt and truly accepted. Thanks for your solid support.

Yeah but honestly we had no idea what an idiot Jones was until the Oklahoma game. Any criticism prior was premature IMO.

A lost sheep wandered into this thread everyone.

Go back to your pen buddy, Butch has some more slogans for you before nap time.

Wrong, many Vol fans saw it live and in person before he was hired and started spouting cliches. Then there was Vandy in 2013, Florida last year, etc.

Speaking of no balls, you probably watched it live before Jones was even hired.

Wish I didn't have balls because it feels like I've been kicked there after watching Tennessee football.

Agreed, there were some signs... the Worley/Peterman/Dobbs QB situation, UF games the previous 2 years, but he also showed signs he could be something special, recruiting, the Iowa game.

It was all a matter of the scales tipping one way or the other. Unfortunately it looks like things are about to blow up. We either need to get ahead of this by moving on from Jones or we could get set back to Dooley era talent if we keep him around too long.

I'm tired of walking to my car after another dispointing loss and not watching Sports Center becAuse I'm pissed but whatever. I'd always support Tennessee even if we never won another game ever. Being a bandwagon fan only works for so long.

nice..I always support my team and that includes who is coaching it at the time..the only alternative would be to pull for my team to lose..which I will never do!
