I'm really afraid to get my hopes up, but I am really feeling a lot better about the game today, ESPN was really laying the pressure to Florida, even mention the NC.. The have to really win huge to live up to the expectations..The even put pressure directly on Tebow about he was going run all of over us by himself... Lane also looked totally relaxed.. Add in some rain, I think it may the perfect set up for a lot of mistakes on the UF side.. Of course it could just be a combo of the kool-aid and wishfull thinking..:blink:

Same here, but I drink a lot of Kool-Aid. Hopefully, it will come a monsoon and make it a slower field. Defense needs to come up with a big game, and we need to hand it off every play.

I'm not sure if we can win but I feel better about it not being another blowout. I will be rooting as hard as I can for a UT victory though.

The pressure is on the Gators. They have already said everything they can about Kiffin and the Vols. Gators win big, no story. Vols win, shocks the world! We have to let it all hang out, don't play scared Fulmer ball. Take it to them and see what happens.

They can win this game. Yes it will take alot of great things going Tennessee's way, but it is possible. I love the VOLS and always will, wins or losses. GOOOOOOOOOO VOLS!!!!

i don't know what's gonna hurt more, my hangover from last night or the outcome of the game.

I'm under no illusions that UT can win this game with JC in command, I hope he has the game of his life but I dont expect it.

I'm under no illusions that the Gators are under any of this so called "pressure" everyone around here has been talking about all week.

on any given day, ANY team can beat any other team... today for TN...probable, no, but it can happen...

the only folks putting pressure for a big gator victory are the TN fans that need to feel good if they "only lose by X"

this is just my opinion... we (as in gator fans and supporters) know that TN has a good to great defense... we know you have some stud backs... WE will be just as satisfied with a 1 point win as a 30 point blowout...

you will not win a game hoping you will win, you win games by going in and knowing you will win. its all about confidence..

My only hope is that we have nothing to lose. Maybe Crompton won't be scared out of his mind given the fact that we're a 30 point dog. Maybe he can relax and play decently. The team with nothing to lose has no pressure on it. That's the atmosphere Kiffin wanted to create for this game, and he did it wonderfully. GO VOLS!

lol.. Yea sure...You keep thinking that... :eek:k: You need to win big really big when you have Texas and USC right behind you in the polls... We are a 5-7 team last year and 1-1 team this year..Myer said it himself "Troy had more talent than UT" It could have huge effect on the run at the NC if Florida barely wins..

Crompton is just not a quarterback...I hope you are right but if he relaxes then he could quite possibly screw more stuff up than he did last week vs UCLA...but again-I hope he proves me and most of the other Vol-faithful wrong!

CUM is a friggin' idiot. I can't wait for the day to roll around when CLK sticks his foot in CUM's a** and embarasses him. That day will come alot sooner than he and his beloved Gators expect it will!!!

And for the record, the Gators may try and run up the score but many of us Vol fans seem to forget that we still have an AMAZING DEFENSE that has something to say about that! Just like UF's players are pumped up because of CLK's comments, The Vol D-Unit is going to be pumped the hell up about all the trash that Tebow and Meyer have been talking...this is going to be a damn battle and by God Tennessee's D is gonna be a FORCE to be dealt with that any offense will have trouble with-Tebow or no Tebow!!!!

Yeah, I not happy we lost..but I can for sure see the direction that we are going...that in itself is a plus....we all have been on the kool aid....we are more or less the same team as last year...just being coached better...but our inefficiencies are still the same...
