Absolutely all good. Livin' large and living the dream. Dropping a few BB cards for some cash, still doing some stained glass for a few local merchants, playing golf 3-4 times a week and traveling around the area. Hope the new job is working out great for ya. I'm sure the wife is happy but if you need a blond haired blue eyed kid, I'm available without an appointment.

BB cards?

Ive lost the patience. I have so many. Need to sell some

I was working a deal on some stained glass at a consignment shop and asked her about BB cards. She told me about a friend of hers who runs an estate sale shop. Anyway, he bought close to 500 at a decent price. I wanted to unload all of them on him but he was interested mostly in the older ones.

He has dementia. Only 53. It's not full blown yet but getting close from what I read.
Man, that's too bad.

Where was h?

He was out chasing the old women around the nursing home.

Yeah, I have some I've picked up over the past 30 years or so. Stuff from the 50's through the early 90's. Rocky turned me on to selling them on EBay.

I have a closet full that I've held on to. How do you determine fair value?

I really haven't had an urge to travel back to Knoxville. You're giving me one. I'll pop you in the side of your head with my wheel chair.

Go ahead.

Then I'll take you to Shoney's. :eek:lol:

Beckett is usually the price fixer on the cards. Whatever they value the card for, you can usually get 50-70% on a private sale. 50% or less at a dealer. That's for mint cards. And, it depends on what you have. Some are obviously worth more than others. I got lucky in collecting every card made for Nolan Ryan, Cal Ripken, Jr. and a few others that made it big. Also, have and had a few old Mickey Mantle cards, a few Casey Stengel when he played and coached, mid 60's Hank Aaron, etc.
