Well if you ain't in the playoffs, these bowl games seem more like a scrimmage...

GO VOLS!!!

Then they have always been that way. If you were not in the Title game, then what was the purpose of the bowl game? Point of bowl games have not changed.

To follow up on that. I believe these bowls are truly, in big part, for the fans. Think about how long it will be until we see our Vols on the field again. Think about how many Vols might not make it to the next season. Everyone deserves one last go. (Including the seniors who may never play another down of ball again)
