I can understand that logic for the foreseeable future. Once we have a few seasons of recruiting, the talent and depth will improve tremendously. I think one we have all the pieces in place any style of QB will work in this system. But you must first have talent and depth on the line and across the O....ever recruit another QB that doesn't run at least as well as Hooker.
A flat-footed QB gives the D an extra defender.
