I sort of agree with the OP. The game has changed and drop back passers are no longer what the game needs. If you have a 5* OL (as opposed to 5* heart OL) then you can have a drop back more NFL style QB but I prefer one that can move.

I can understand that logic for the foreseeable future. Once we have a few seasons of recruiting, the talent and depth will improve tremendously. I think one we have all the pieces in place any style of QB will work in this system. But you must first have talent and depth on the line and across the O.
