Abernathy was great. He made plays early and he closed the game out.

Barnett was dominant at times.

Dobbs showed heart. That 3rd down run in OT was unreal and absolutely sacrificing his body to score a touchdown was another.

Evan Berry is still a force of absolute nature

Would have been nice to see what JRM could have done. Smh

Butch talks about how this team faces adversity and I think we finally got over the hump. Early turn over on special teams, a call didn't go our way on the P Williams catch in the end zone, JRM getting ejected. The team found a way to win! Not pretty but I'm not sure we win this game last year.

Hat's off to McDowell (#20). He saved the game with big stops.

Abernathy played great. Secondary as a while played well. Open field tackling is always a concern early in the season but they tackled better than any time in the past few years.

We lived a charmed life in 98 too

So who knows...

Linebackers were mostly way too hesitant.

McDowell closed on some runs, but for the most part...reacted WAY too slow all night to run plays

It was ugly. Bright spot, Malone caught a clutch pass wherAs in the past he would of dropped it most likely. Berry in his one return looked explosive like last year. But that's about it.

I felt like our pass rush was solid but they didn't throw very much to reap the benefits. That TD pass they had was a throw off the back of his foot because of our fierce pass rush.It was really lucky.

First game compliment sandwich:

Trevor Daniels punished that return guy.

The team was a flaming funeral pyre of garbage adrift at sea.

The field looked nice.

Dobbs hit a deep pass.

I thought he threw the ball pretty well actually.

He was awful reading the field. His passes were over and under and sometimes on target.

That TD pass against Florida or anyone that doesn't have a 5'7 cb would be PBU or int.

He got lucky.

A good not mentioned so far, Medley hit his two field goals and his PATs. We don't go into OT without Medley and he needs to be recognized for it.
