It was reported we spent 10 mill?
Ok. If Nico made 2.4 and we had 2 oline making 1 mill..james pierce was atleast another mill. So thats 5.4 mill of 10 mill on 4 players. Im not a math expert buts 50 plus % on 4 players is not ideal. Its no wonder we lost so much in portal and got so little.
Money wins. Just like it was before Nil. Now its the wild wild west but only legal and unregulated

Yes...for the near future, let's not see "Tennessee has made x the highest NIL recipient at his position ".

Take a page out of some the better NFL teams and spread that money around.

I think the football budget is more than $10 million. (I had seen $13 million somewhere.) But it dang sure isn’t anywhere near Ohio State’s $22 million.

Ohio State's budget is supposed to be 20 million. They have 7 players that its reported to make almost half that this next year. its the way NIL works. players 40-85 on your roster make a very small portion of NIL. Probably is players 30-85 instead of 40

they only have 3 players reported to make over a million this season.

Georgia has one player projected at over a million this season

I think 10 mill to 12 was realistic.
Not enough. Esp if we spend 8mill in bbal. Danny has been great. But he needs to step up to new age of athletics
I mean you can really only step up raising money so much. I would have to check numbers but I bet you would find the AD is pulling in more money than any point before. Again this is my uneducated opinion but I bet the figures back that up. Of course you could counter with and be right that it costs more to be competitive than ever before.

Saw a report this morning that Texas now has a $40 million roster. Should we just go ahead and crown them national champs?

naw, still gotta do it on the field.

I bet that includes the 20 million for revenue sharing.. Revenue sharing (if it happens this year) ups Tennessee's by 20 million also

We lost literally no one of importance besides mediocre Nico and backup Jakobe
