...we play them really close and Berry picks Tebow, and has some other big plays. I don't think we can win, so I'm trying to stay positive and I think this is the type of thing that could pave the way to a strong finish this season.

I agree, tired of watching blow outs but then again in 2006 when we lost by a point I was pissed to say the least.

Yeah. As I said in another thread, as long as they give us 100% and try their best I will be satisfied. the past couple of seasons we seemed to give up when faced with adversity.:good!:

moral victories suck. There may be some positives you can take from the game but in the end it still goes in the L column

Totally agree. There is a big difference between happy and proud. Being proud is when the team plays hard. Happiness is the feeling you get watching Casey Clausen lead the band in Rocky Top in the Swamp.

Losses always depress me. Close ones make me think UT should have won and blowouts suck for everyone. I don't think I'll be happy on a weekend where UT loses no matter how hard they try or how much of a moral victory it is.

What would you give to have Casey at quarterback this year? Or Rick or Andy or Tee or Eric or etc...

the first time Tebow stands in the pocket to work through his progression and deliver a pass to the #3 or #4 reciever, Rico McCoy takes him down just below the chinstrap and makes him crap in a bag.

Would be happy if...The coaches get creative on offense, Brown, Hardesty in the backfield at the same time, Nuke in the slot, Berry over on offense for a few touches...mostly though, just cut them loose and let them have fun. It's been a long time since it looked like the offense was having fun instead of playing not to lose.

I would be happy if we played the whole game with no turnovers and the defense holds strongs. If that is the case I dont think there is anyway they score in the 30's let along 50's.

Man, it's amazing how far the Vols have fallen. Now, some Vols are going to be happy starting the season 1-2 with a fifth-straight loss to UF as long the Vols can keep it close. Kiffin Koolaid must be crazy strong.
