Sounds like he thinks the fanbase is the problem. The fanbase is pissed because the team has sucked, that's the root of your problem Danny boy.

He's most likely never encountered a fanbase that has stuck by a program in the numbers that we have, over such a long smoldering dumpster fire of a period of time that the last decade plus has been.

The reality of that alone should make him aware of the emotional investment that the fanbase has in this program.

There are quite a few on here like that. Literally make the same excuse for the current coach's problems, all being the fault of the last coach, but it's been multiple years since that coach was on campus; rinse repeat.

Great job ...I mean really...a GREAT job on paying Fulmer 37,500 bucks a month to not work. It is a good reward for bringing as much shame and heartburn as this program has likely ever seen with sanctions looming. Phil is a real VFL as long as he gets paid.

I am super impressed and looking forward to seeing what Coaches offensive and defensive schemes look like on the field. It is going to be good seeing either a wide open offense or an ultra conservative one again. I know we don't have a coaching staff but I am positive they will at least field an offense.

2. Meet with leaders and advise on needs and current status of the roster
3. Move quickly ( possible coach in mind )
4. Danny has charisma
5. We have strong admin and leadership

For what it’s worth he is a great speaker and very likable aside from the fan social media comment. He self admittedly needs to learn a lot about Tennessee. Perhaps when he reviews the last decade, he will understand that our fans deserve to be praised for sticking by this mess
