I was talking to the other guy...at any rate I'm really optimistic about Butch. I think he's got the right personality and will to win. He's just going to need to time--something he did not have in this particular signing period. Dooley had built up a mediocre class prior to Jones coming aboard here.

I think most people are still in denial. They still don't get it. We're not a program in decline. We have smacked the dirt at 200 mph and by some miracle have some life left. We'll get up , but we're stripped of any "powers" that we had in the past. We will earn this the hard way and we're not entitled to anything.

I feel dumber and just wasted about 10 seconds I can never get back. We signed guys we had no chance with if Dooley had been here and wouldnt have gotten Bell with Dooley here. He did a good job considering all the bridges Dooley burned.

You know what? Pack sand. All you people who say I'm not a true fan because I'm happy that 21 young men just joined our team can take a flying leap for all I care. Cut the crap and go become a true fan somewhere else.

how was Dooleys class looking this year ? 40-50 rank.he got a head start from Kiffin and BJ was behind the 8 ball when he took over.You can thank Dooley for Bell not being at Tn.

lets remember Dooley did not take over at our worst,Bell said if Dooley would have wanted him he would have come,Jones had to fix alot of Dooleys screw ups,, i for one think this class could have been worse, and yes when we win a few were not suppose to, our class will be top ten, i love what Jones is trying to do, and im a true VOLS fan,,,:twocents:

The funny thing about this whole day is how people keep going on about how this signing day has been a failure. The last few weeks all you would see is threads about how relentless CBJ is as a recruiter. And now that Bell picked Ohio State most all you see are threads about how bad he did. It would have been great to get Bell but we didn`t. I think Butch did a hell of a job this past few weeks to get North ,Dobbs and Miller to come here. Now let`s get behind CBJ and get ready to win some games!!

Agreed that "you're not a true fan" stuff is dumb. We signed a solid class. Not great, but 10 four stars is good. We flipped two big recruits. I'm happy we have them. Dobbs is a bigger pick up than some realize. Maybe it makes us true fans that we are excited about the new kids who will wear orange.
