some long in the tooth on this list. Agree on Belichick, Brady and Peterson however. Would take Welker if slot was my aim or my line was set and solid.

A little homerism.

Reed is getting older, but still lethal. The Ed Reed of a few years ago was unreal.

Vinatieri is ancient, but I'm forever grateful.

Two receivers would make more sense. No one runs those jerk and pivot/snag routes like WW. Pretty darn good at shallow crosses too.

Reed led the league in INTs despite missing 6 games this year so he's still got it. Definitely one of my favorite players.

As much as I hate NE, I'd still have to go with:
Head Coach- Belichick
Stadium- Cowboys Stadium
QB- Brady
RB- Chris Johnson
WR- Fitzgerald or Calvin Johnson
1 Defensive Player- Ware
1 Special Team Player- Cribbs

I might start a team in Birmingham. Alabama loves, they don't really have an option in Birmingham, and the whole state is left without a team to support. Who do they follow, N.O. or Atlanta?

IIRC the state is split between Tennessee, Atlanta, and New Orleans...though it might be mostly the former 2 more than the latter

Def New Orleans and Atlanta especially due to those two teams recent success. People around here tend to go all bandwagon. I saw the funniest thing the other day in a mall parking lot. It was a suv with a univeristy of alabama license plate. On the back window written on the glass was..."I am really an Auburn fan, please disregard the license plate.....WAR EAGLE". Im not making that ish up.

Northern Alabama is squarely in the Titans market. A large part of Alabama is also in the Falcons market. Alabama doesn't have a very large population so the market would be extremely small. Their population is barely over 4.5 million... 1.5 million short of Atlanta and short of Tennessee. A lot of people down here additionally really don't care about the NFL.

Every single Titans game is carried in Huntsville. Can't say that about the Falcons and the Saints. Haven't seen much paraphernalia for any NFL team but it seems as though it's Titans or nothing. Actually, me included, there are quite a few DC Skins fans that are here as transplants.

North Alabama though I believe is pretty titans heavy. (as I think is the same with upper mississippi; I know Miss, N alabama, KY, and Arkansas all get radio broadcasts of titans games) ( http://www.titansradio.com/sectional.asp?id=28834 )

But you're pretty much right that in a non team state, popularity will shift a bit depending on how teams do
