They will have to blitz and hope to frustrate Bray or knock him out of the game. That may even include cheap shots. If you don't think losing your QB can happen, ask Arky. There were at least 3 shots to the head of Wilson last week that were not called. One of them took him out of the game.
IMO there is no way that FL can play zone and contain the offense. The O-line has played well in pass protection and Bray is deadly when he can stand in the pocket and see the field. If you push him from the pocket, he can get a little aggressive and make mistakes.
I expect to see lots of pressure early in hopes of rattling Bray and causing him to make some early errors. If they set back and let him throw a couple of TDs before they bring pressure... the game will be over early.

I'm thinking Fla will pull a couple of trick plays. After all the OC came from Boise and they are known for them. Tn DBs so far has been known to be out of position and look confused at times. Just hope we don't make Driskel look like Joe Montana.
Lots of people posting that they expect Gators to blitz a lot. I just don't see that because even though they may get to Bray a couple of times, he will burn them on big plays as well. That is the one thing Florida can't do is give up easy scores. I expect them to stay in zone and make Tennessee throw underneath and tackle them for short gains. Zone also allows better run support. If the Gators blitz they'll have to be in a lot of man coverage which the Vols will beat with Hunter and Patterson. Also, when in man their DB's will have their backs to the line of scrimmage and won't be able to come up in run support as easily as from zone coverage. I look for Gators to grab, hold, bump and otherwise try to disrupt our receivers routes and to try and keep everything underneath them. There will be "chicken" fights on every play. Our WR's have to keep their cool and use their strength and athleticism to get off the ball. A lot could depend on how the officials call the game. Will they let a hand full of Paterson's jersey or a bump 10 yards down field go or will they call it close and clean? Look for Florida to turn it into a wrestling match if they can. GBO:rock:
I think you guys will be surprised by our front four. If they can get pressure on their own things will get interesting.
And I know this sounds off the wall but we did beat Texas A&M , a very solid team. I am surprised if you think this game is just going to be some blow out cake walk.

I would have my d yell outa fake, cover b pass and change the letter every time alternating between zone and man blitz then cover 3 the rest
....no college team in America can effectively cover Hunter and CP, and when you add in Rivera and Rodgers, not to mention Neal and Lane as potential recievers....well there is no way.
Florida's best bet is to put the ball on the ground and play keep away from Bray...their only bet...!
Pretty much agree that would work against most, average, run of the mill offenses. However, this isn't a standard offense. Everyone on this offense will be starring in the NFL one day. Defenses heads will spin and even if you have the best scheme and players, you can't stop it. Great offenses always beat great defenses, fact.
