If you think this year will be bad, next year will be worse.

I dont see Bray staying no matter how he performs this year. If he is projected to get drafted regardless of where, I think he's gone. And you can bet the two WR's go if he's gone. He has no real loyalty to Dooley like some want us to believe. This season is easily the most talented roster they'll have over the next 3-4 seasons.

If Bray and Co leave, new starters plus our road schedule will make next year worse. We go to Oregon, Florida, and Alabama.

How can you say that? We have more talented underclassmen this year since Fulmer started to fall off. We're also still recruiting well and, more importantly, the attrition rate of Dooley's classes have been extremely low. Just looking at the roster: We have, like, 40 Juniors in this class, 30 sophomores, and 30 freshman. Dooley did that! How can you say that those guys won't be worth a flip in 3-4 years? How do you know that Peterman or (Lord willing) Ferguson couldn't be better than Bray?

With less talent and a more difficult schedule?

If difficult schedule only means at Florida, Bama and Oregon who should we worry about? As far as talent, losing the big names would hurt but I haven't heard anything about the talent behind them to suggest I should be in panic mode... Hopefully those guys gain some PT this year... As far as coaching, would be a bigger learning curve if we threw that inexperienced talent out there with a new offensive/defensive scheme to learn... Just sayin...

We'll be back in the Top 25 pretty soon if we don't finish that way this year... That's my prediction :hi:

Dont we have 9 more games left, dont give up on this year yet going in to this year 8 or 9 wins was the most we were going to get out of this team.

its really hard to say this early. we get 1/3 from the 'big 3' to return we that will be a nice offensive team
defense we loose wagnerr and most likely lathers but will have a pretty good talent coming back
Sure we loose at least one starter to 'violation of team rules'
So Petrino will have a good nucleus to work with, J/K

Where is Bray going? Canada? He might make someone's practice squad. He's simply not ready. All the talk about him going pro is silly. Hunter and Patterson i could see that happening....

What NFL team doesn't want a QB with these credentials:

1. Stick thin and a history of being injured
2. A reputation for having a bad attitude and poor work ethic
3. A history of not handling adversity well
4. Has never beaten or had a good game vs a quality opponent.
5. Has a reputation of not fully knowing the offense and an inability to read defenses.

Tyler has a plus arm and great potential but until he overcome those questions, he will not be ready for the NFL. There are no Ga States in the NFL.

I have a feeling Bray and Patterson and Hunter will both likely be gone. With Worley throwing to Jacob Carter and Drae Bowles next year with the same running game, I don't see next year being much better for Dooley.

...if you think that the Florida game did anything to improve the draft status of Bray, Hunter, and Patterson you were watching a different game than I was...!
