We all know he had problems.....we know these things. However you speak as “fact” that can’t be hired.....yet it’s not “fact.”

I mean he’s just guessing but it’s somewhat rooted in evidence. I’m sure all major programs will have pause about hiring Freeze. I still bet someone does eventually. I don’t see how we could bc of the investigation.

I mean honestly I want freeze but how do you have an NCAA investigation and say we’ve learned our lesson then go out and hire freeze? I just don’t see our admin doing that.

Other than the lack of power 5 coaching, I don’t see any knocks on Chadwell. He is from Caryville, went to ETSU and has had his teams play way out of their league. As a former Charleston Southern student, I can tell you what he did there was remarkable, and to have CCU in the top 25 equally impressive. Give him the keys and I would be willing to bet he wouldn’t disappoint.

and how do I know Freeze wasn’t in play for either of those jobs? Well, South Carolina had a 2 month head start on their search and hired a last name. Auburn went with like their 5th choice. He wasn’t even considered at either place. Just like Southern Miss. Memphis last year. Those OC jobs he claims he was in contention for. There’s a reason he’s at Liberty.

But keep believing that Hugh is some VFL and that Tennessee is his “dream job”. Yeah he turned down Auburn to wait on Tennessee....starving men often turns down Christmas turkeys.

If South Carolina had offered Napier, he’d be the South Carolina coach. He passed on Mississippi State last year bc he knew South Carolina job would come open and that was the one he targeted. South Carolina (Spurrier) went a different way. But Billy wanted that job.

Auburn was about 4 simultaneous searches going on and the AD beat everyone to the punch, Napier was never officially “offered” by Auburn.

For 1 this can’t be true.......because you said he is not “hirable” .......so they “couldn’t” have........right?

Second, he isn’t “starving”.......he’s making bank at a lower stress level gig. He is a “hot” name, and could certainly land a big time job in the near future.

When the SC job was open Freeze stated publicly that he was “not” entertaining “any” job offers at the time. Freeze said he “would” leave Liberty, but it would have to be a “special” situation.......he’s not just taking “anything” right now.

Again......none, some, or heck all of what you say “could” turn out to be true......but you don’t KNOW.

Coastal wasn’t a high school team? Lol but they definitely run a high school offense. That “spread wing t” bs was popular in East Tennessee circa 2008.

And everyone is calling him wanting to know the concepts. Coastal is preseason top 25 in all 3 polls released already. We are in the top 50. WTH?
