Then stop buying tickets. Stop watching the games on TV. That's the only way you will get the results you want. Truth is Butch ain't goin nowhere. I'm not a Butch Homer at all. Would rather have Les Miles or Dan Mullen imo. Butch made grave mistakes that costed this team the game. I think we will recover. Go vols.

We are still waiting on him to recover from his other blunders. He just keeps adding to his list

In Year 5, we are the 3rd best team in TN. I feel sorry for Kelly who played so hard but whose effort was sabotaged by Butch, Scott, and Shoop.

Our administration is to blame. Memphis has hired Norvell and Fuente. Vandy hired Franklin. We've hired a loser in Kiffin, a loser in Dooley, and a choke artist in Butch.

Stopping buying tickets and going to games is unrealistic in many ways. One, fans live for the season each year. Two, if a long time season ticket holder stopped - their seats would be taken b4 the week was out. You would never get your location again. Just the way it is. AD needs to look for best for the university and fan base.

How the hell can Memphis and Vandy hire better coaches? Memphis was coming off being beaten down by 50 by Ark State, plays in a dump stadium/conference and they are 2/2 in recent hires while we are 0/3. The era of trying to operate like a mid major in hiring coaches has to end.

He will get seven wins and a bowl and be back next year. Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Lsu and vandy are the five not winnable.

No I won't punish the players who are playing hard because of Butch's shortcomings. What happens will happen as far as his future is concerned and I have no power over it. But, after today I wouldn't mind seeing a change. Completely botched it.

We have been thru the hiring & firing before. Plenty of times....

Please look at the list of candidates who turned us down.
Butch Davis, Lovie Smith, John Gruden, Bill Cowher, Gary Patterson, Will Muschamp, David Sutcliffe, etc, etc.

We passed on Kevin Sumlin and others.

To fire bUTch and have to pay him to leave then not get a much better coach makes no sense......

When I first began watching the Vols, in a young age, I was satisfied with an 8 win season and a bowl victory. I say 8 wins because we did not play 12 regular season games back then.
I am still satisfied with 8 regular season wins and a bowl victory.... Not every team can win a National Championship but we should strive for it. It takes good preparation, good recruiting, good coaching, good player development and some luck to win a championship. It is rare that that situation comes together.

But he didn't have enough sense to run on 1st and goal at the 1/2 yd line. And we've got 7 guys within 15-20 yds of the line of scrimmage on the last play of the game? Game. Set. Match.

No, I think you're wrong. boycotting the team hurts the players, not the coaches. Besides, if the team loses; then the fan base will shrink anyway. And the reasons for losing will still be there. Butch got out coached, Again, and badly.......I mean, who does Not put a safety back in prevent on the last play tonight? CBJ, that's who.
It is time for a change. Butch has amply made the case that he cannot win at the highest level.
It's time to flood Currie and DiPietro's email with calls for CBJ's removal. Anything less than contact with the top is a noise level waste of time.

Butch has proven himself inadequate in 3/4 areas that you mentioned. Where is the logic in retaining him as the head coach?
