That's not even the guy posting. He's 32 years old and wears pink shorts and '80s bands t-shirts

My official prediction is.............

Vols- 34
Gators- 24

In a hard fought battle by both teams. Tebow gets knocked out by Mayo in the third quarter. Foster runs for two TD's, and Ainge throws for two Td's to Austin Rogers and Josh Briscoe.

If we do will you dress as a clown and use it as your avatar or dress up in jorts, either way is OK.

Ha Ha!!! Keep it coming. I never heard that one before. Dude that's equivalent to everyone calling Tennessee fans backwoods hillbillya$$ inbreds. I know you've heard it a million times. Or maybe not. Why don't you go ask your girlfriend for a some chewing tobakker. I'm sure that ole' gal has some she can spare. Or better yet, pay a visit to an orthodontist. (That is if they even exist in Tennessee.)

I guess Florida doesn't have a spell/grammar checker?

My :twocents::

We were not as prepared for Cal as we could have been. They were more motivated, and their speed seemed to have caught us off-guard. Our D-line and secondary was too inexperienced and coupled together with no outstanding LB play, couldnt keep them from scoring. offense played fairly well, could have been better with Coker in addition to Foster, but...

We started way too slow against So. Miss. I expected the team to be highly motivated and mad, they didnt appear to be either to me from the stands. D still made youthful mistakes, but certainly played better, as expected against a lesser talented team. So...

Can we put some pressure on Tebow instead of giving him time to sit back there? Our corners are not experienced enough yet to offer good coverage for long. Can we improve on kickoff coverage and make them go farther than 50-60 yards to score? Can we create a turnover or two on defense? Can we protect Ainge in the pocket? Can our youth handle the hostility they will find in the swamp and not be intimidated? If the answer is yes to all, or at least some of these questions, I think we can go to Gainsville and pull out a win. But I do think we gotta play "all out" on offense and take some chances, and I dont mean "chances" as in inserting Crompton in at QB on a QB draw, I mean take some shots deep, and mix up the running game a bit more than we have, show them something new. I think we can, don't know if we will, but "hoping like heck" that we do.

I wonder if Fla is the type of team we can go deep on if the short pass works then do it.

How can you love something so much but put it down everytime something goes wrong?? I guess I define loyalty different then most on here......anyways, my point will never be seen unless we go 12 - 0 for at least 4 straight years.......

I think I speak for everyone correct me if I'm wrong, when I say this is the theory that we are trying to get through your head.

The things you love the most are the ones that will dissapoint you the most. This is a place to discuss Tennessee football, if you want to be blindly optimistic, that's fine, but you are to a different level, close to being militant.

I'm not trying to be an authoritative voice around here because I'm not in that position, but I am saying, Man, chill out a little. It's okay if people have different opinions in relation to your own. The sun will come up tomorrow.

As much as it hurts to say this, I have to say it:
If losing to Florida, and possibly a losing season, means Fulmer is gone, then I say (gulp) Go Gators.
There is no earthly reason this program should not be on the same level year in and year out with the Florida's, USC's, Oklahoma's, etc., etc. We should not constantly be an underdog against these programs! Look at Florida - they lose Spurrier, and it may have taken a couple of years, but they go out and get the best young coach available, and Bammo! National title. I think the personnel here has been pretty damn good, but having a blockhead calling the shots has cost us over and over. As wonderful as 1998 was, it led to the delusion that this guy could coach. I think we've seen the light since.
Having said all that, I'll be rooting like hell for the Orange on Saturday, so go figure!

I don't get people with that line of thinking. I make it a point to not call people's degree of fandom into question, but if that's your view, why even bother with it?

You beat me to it.

I don't care what the situation is, I will never utter "Go <opposing team>"
