I'd like to see the same score as last year
Tennesee winning 21-20.

Foster, Coker and Rogers with touchdowns.

Tebow scores 14 points on QB sneaks and he has to leave after getting his bell rung by MCoy on the second score, then Florida gets Field goals, in the 3rd and 4th qtr.

If you listened to VN live last night goodolerockytop said he was drinking so I don't really think he had the intentions of getting negative responses. He just wanted to hear some good stuff about our team! I don't blame him, when I get worried about a game I like to hear good stuff about our team to help cope with the fact that we could possibly lose. Also, somebody said earlier that there is a difference in wanting us to lose and stating that we could lose. I agree, but when it gets to the point that people say we are gonna lose by 50 and have no valid points to back it up other than "cause we still got that fat fulmer" it gets old. Its like a guy that was sitting right in front of me at the Southern Miss game, if he wasn't wearing orange I would have thought he was a Southern Miss fan. Even when we scored he would say something about what we did wrong. It was ridiculous. Also, fans that don't understand football get on my nerves. There where two guys sitting behind me that kept yelling and screaming because we where running the no huddle slow. I wanted to turn around and explain to them that just because we run the no huddle doesn't mean we are in a hurry up offense. It just means that we are already at the line of scrimmage ready to run a play. Kind of got off track, but my point is I don't mind people with a negative opinion, as long as they have valid points to back it up. People that respond negatively all the time and all they say is "I hate Fulmer" or "we need to fire fulmer" is what gets on my nerves. Those people make me -->:realmad:

No huddle is not slow....we are at the line of scrimmage when most teams are in the huddle, we are looking for the play with 15 - 20 secs left on the play clock.....I hear ya Volman......but drinking has nothing to do with sunshine fans we got here in Tennessee. I wanted REAL fans to post here and support our Vols, not dissect them like they all work for ESPN.....LOL, thats it we have a bunch of Chris Fowler's and a BUNCH OF Lee Corso's and Lou Holtz on here.....

Not agreeing with you or thinking that we might lose this Florida game doesn't make anyone less of a fan than you and it also doesn't mean that those same fans won't be yelling and cheering the Vols on just a s loud as you come Saturday.

You know the old phrase "Plan for the worst but hope the for the best" ??

It's how I live and how I look at UT football Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday are not that way.

However, I think it's wise.

What about the fans on here that claim to be Big Orange fans and then do nothing but trash our program?? I think any team can be beaten on any given Saturday.....I am just saying the people on here that seem to HATE everything about our football program and put it down constantly would find a team they can say something good about!!

People that do this gives us a bad name....and it drives potential fans in the state of Tennessee to be a VA TECH fan or Florida fan.....happens all the time!! Ask 10 people in the state of Tennessee why they don't like the Vols......and 9 out of those 10 will say our fans!! When we win, we love the Vols, but if we lose "we suck" or "our program is going downhill" or "fire Fulmer".......kind of like religion, we lose it if things arent going right!!

Dude! The truth is that with our recuriting and skill, we should be at the same level as LSU just about every year. We have not been there in about 5+ years , and we need an IV. Cause we are on life support.

I'm pretty much ready to get rid of Fulmer no matter what. Even if he has a good year, at this point I would only consider it an aberration to his otherwise mediocre, Lloyd Carresque record. That said, I beleive that when asked what it would take to get me off his back for next year I said a 10-win regular season with a trip to the SECCG and I have no problem sticking to that.

BTW, I thought the Vols sucked last year when they won the Air Force game.

i feel the same way. and this goes both ways. there are those that just don't like phil and that's just the way it is. there are also those that paint a rosy picture all the time, that have equally no validity as to why we're going to go 11-1 or 12-0.

speaking for myself, and there are others on here that also know what they are talking about and prolly feel the same way, i do try to simply look at the games, and make determinations on who will do what based on that. nothing more. and if more people really read the posts, it's real easy to find out who knows what they are talking about and who is full of hot air. and i don't care what side of the arguement you're on with CPF, if you don't know what you are talking about and make outlandish, ridiculous statements, you will be called out on it.....

Not a doubt in my mind you did.......my point, we suck when we win and we suck when we lose!! Thank you for giving an illustration of EXACTLY what I am saying.....Why do you waste your time saying you are a Tennessee Vol?? But THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for giving everyone an example of the type of fans that drives others away!! GO VOLS......
