Me, too. There's a line between good-natured ribbing and taunting and, while that line might sometimes be thin, the line between a little verbal back-and-forth versus assault is pretty damn big and should never be crossed at a football game!

You know, it's not even the nasty comments that irk me as badly as the physical assault. (Although some directed at my wife were almost enough to push me into a fight.) I've heard nasty comments at every stadium I've been to. That just goes with playing on the road.

Beleive it or not, I actually had a great time at LSU. The tiger fans were rough before and during the game, but when it was over, and even though UT had won, some invited us to eat with them. GREAT FOOD! Of course, it was 1989. Things could have changed there a little bit.

I was at that 1989 game. There were lots of empty seats. It was a day game.
