If you could walk up to CPF and ask one question.

Coach...Since it clearly doesn't include things like teaching how to tackle, how to run block, or any special teams coaching...what exactly is involved in "workin' like heck?"

As a person, I really like Fulmer. He seems personable and very likeable. But, we've been on a gradual decline most of this decade.

We are definitely stuck in a rut and have fallen way behind several teams in the SEC and are now even with some of the former so-so teams in the conference.

As much as I'm sure Fulmer would like to win, I just don't see him getting it done. He's proved to be extremely stubborn and now has a bunker-like mentality, where he's defensive about any and all criticism and only wants to find excuses instead of answers.

It's also apparent that talent alone isnt' going to turn us around, because most of it seems to get wasted with our archaic schemes and coaching.

It is definitely time for a change and hopefully it'll come this offseason.

I think the best post was the one by VOLinArizona titled "It's Time" posted earlier. He said what needed to be said in a very diplomatic way. And since this thread has become a Fulmer rant instead of guys expressing what their questions to Fulmer might be,perhaps some of you might want to read it or read it again.

As for the questions for Fulmer, lighten up and lets have fun with it...Some maybe serious, some maybe light hearted and or mean spirited...thats what you get whne your on the hot seat. And getting beat 58-20 has put him squarely on the HOT seat!

Thanks, Fine, and I already posted a couple of times in your other thread about the poor treatment you received in Gainesville. That really pisses me off because its such a great place to go to school and has such a fun environment that I can't stand the notion that people leave it with a really bad impression. Just so regrettable.

And to make matters worse of course you had Robin with you and she deserves a whole lot better than to have to listen to such rudeness. I'm just really embarassed about it.

This was my 6th trip down to Gainesville and I always dread some of the fans that we would encounter. There was only about three people that said anything to me and my buddy all day. Their comments were very mild considering years past. We had a great time this year.

General Neyland's firts Maxim is:

"The team that makes the fewest mistakes will win." What part of that do you not get?

Mine would be:

I noticed that at least half the passes you threw were behind the line of scrimmage. Did you not throw downfield much because the Gator defense is that good, because your receivers are that bad, or because you are an unimaginative dolt?
Seriously.
yeah that sounds about right

Coach, after you resign at the end of the season and take a job within the athletic dept.,will you be allowed any input in choosing your successor?

Coach, is there anything else you'd like to say before watching the tape (for the 100th time)?

Phil Fulmer does not call the plays the offensive coordinator does. Phil Fulmer does not call the defensive plays the defensive coordinator does that. Why is this never discussed until Tennesse beats someone and then it's good ole David and his offensive genius or ole Chief got it done again. This is without a doubt the most ridiculous days of threads ever!

You are pretty far off with your line of thinking. First, the head coach has an mental image of how he wants his O and D to be ran. The OC and DC are supposed to be aligned with that thinking and run with it. Their plays should be a reflection of the head coach's ideal O or D.

Additionally, at the end of the day, the head coach is the one responsible for what happens not the OC and DC.

Lastly, people are more pissed about how the "program" is going instead of this one blow-out. The blow-out just highlights the problem. The program is going down hill and needs to be salvaged. Programs don't go downhill overnight, it takes a couple of seasons (typically) to let a program to begin to slip. This trend should be recognized by the head coach and adjustments (whatever they may be) should be made.

Bottom line: It's Phil's fault.
