If You Could Change the Outcome of One Play.........

I honestly think the '01 Georgia game was the quickest I had ever experienced a rise and drop between a state of intense euphoria to an extreme dark place where football emotions go to die.

I'll never forget how I felt after Greene connected on that TD pass.

Even quicker than the 2010 LSU game? That takes some doing.

Honorable mention for me is 4th and 3 '99 at the swamp.

A couple of Tee Martin incomplete passes at Ark the same year also come to mind. We score at the end of that game, we go to SEC ship and play to go to national title game.

Sounds like Bama 2009 for me. :)

Bama 09 was a miserable day as a whole for me. I only got to watch the 1st quarter because I was a groomsman in one of my best friends stand up funerals. Only game ive missed in 10 years

......throughout the entire course of Tennessee's history what would it be, and why?

Go.

(1) Any of A. Fosters fumbles against Bama, Penn State, U.S.Carolina or any one else.
(2) 1999 in-complete pass to Gaffney,in the end zone that the ref called as complete and we lose. We win and
end up 10-1, with a lone loss to Arkansas 24 -22. We win the S.E.C. East and go to SEC Championship game.

'05 Corey Anderson fumbling out of the endzone against Bama. I know that season was a wash but it still pisses me off.

The Gaffney drop was 2000

I know what u mean, but to Anderson's credit, if u go back and watch that film and see just how hard he was blasted from behind, its pretty easy to see how that ball came loose. But yeah, pisses me off too.

Which fumble against Bama was that?

The 2001 SECCG. We had the best team in the country that year and gave away a 2nd BCS Championship.

Tennessee wouldn't have beaten Miami. Still, to lose that SECCG was inexcusable.

Yeah I have to admit it was an incredible hit.

This is why I'm torn between 2001 and 1996.

In 1996, had we beaten Memphis, we very well may have beaten Florida State in the NCG.

In 2001, we very likely would've lost to Miami, but that LSU game seems to be the turning point of the program that's had a really bad decade now.

Erik Ainge's INT returned for a TD was pretty pathetic in the 07 SECCG. He could not have made it any easier for the CB.

The 06 late hit against UF. If that penalty isn't called I believe UT's recent history would be changed. Also the blocked Fg's against bama in 09.
