If you are thinking about not going to the game

It's a noon game, who would know?...or care?

Not to be that guy that says "things were different when I was at UT"...but they were. It's a different world. Kids want instant gratification these days.

Wanting to compete for the East after 5 years isn't instant gratification. -46 year old man

Wasn't there a rumor about students walking out of the game this week?

Now that would be good to see. Would send a message to the administration that UT fans are done with Butch Jones and change needs to be made IMMEDIATELY.

Or you could boycott this forum. That'll show us.

People are selling their tickets. They are for sale every where. Several people where my wife works who don't normally go to games bought tickets this week for cheap.

Yeah people say don't go. Empty seats are one thing but what's worse is opposing fanbase overrunning our stadium. The Bama beat down in 08 was bad for Fulmer. But what was more crushing to his chances to stay was as the game got out of hand the 35-40k Bama fans in Neyland sealed the deal. So truth be known you can compromise. Go to game. Don't wear Gamecocks stuff but wear similar colors and the appearance tells the Athletic Department desperation has arrived. Lol just far fetched but totally accurate.

I'm working a 12 hour shift tonight. As soon as I get off tomorrow morning at 6 I'm heading to the Vol Navy. Won't be getting home til about 6:30 tomorrow night. Over 24 hours without sleep and a two hour drive each way. Not a butch fan any longer, but I'm not giving up on the team.

Showing up and emptying out early sends an equal if not more of a message.

Keep in mind the tickets are already sold. Yes, concessions may suffer but those are subbed out.

This!!! If it's packed and then half empty by the 3rd Quarter that screams much louder to me. A game or two of that, then not showing up would be big. To know everyone came, then left is embarrassing and terrifying.

Please keep your crying behind at home with your 75 dollars. You are not a real Vols fan !!!! You sound like a toothless Bama fan, CRY CRY CRY if your team can't win. So please stay out of Knox Vegas.

Wait.......what......$75 bucks? Frankie Fingers Angelini swore they cost $125 bucks a piece. I swear you cant trust anyone with "fingers" in their name.

Gruden knows that if he accepts the job, Neyland could add 30k more seats and still sell out. If he accepts, the spring game will have 104k.

Slow that roll .. He won a SB with the team he coached and the OC he hired. And played against them the following year. What a heads up and everyone knows D wins in the long run ..Ask Saban

I’ll catch the first half before heading to work. Do have family using my tickets though.

Instant gratification? It's been 10 years since we won the East. Almost 20 since we won the SEC and a national title.

How is that any different from any other year? Seriously, fans have always been known to leave early, especially for the noon games.

Hello all, I have been a lurker for awhile and choose now to make my first post. I want The Great Gruden as much as anyone, having been a Raiders fan all my life, so I have lived through two LK debacles. My question is, if you are planning on going to the Hill, wouldn't a bigger statement be to show up,cheer the boys, and empty Neyland at the start of the second quarter? I will hang up and listen...

Edit...it seems that great Vol minds think alike... I withdraw my question...carry on...SOON!

Are there no paper bags? Are there no Nixon masks?
