Don't be surprised to see our running game fall off. Matt Simms does a lot of questionable things, but he is great calling in run plays. With Worley, I don't expect to see our running game success continue.

We may be better in passing, but we will probably have to sacrifice the run.

Finally having a running game will help Worley tremendously.

We run better with Simms because the D is concerned about him carving them up in the passing game.

Of course it is because even the line knows he can't complete a pass. Furthermore, there is more misdirection with Simms in the game because his lack of ability otherwise requires a better running game.

Have they not been good against the two best defenses in the nation?

We had more rushing yards than Bama in the first half, not exactly an easy accomplishment.

Are you trying to say that our rushing game improvement is a result of Matt Simms? We have no CHOICE but to run the football with him in there! He is without a doubt the WORST QB to start at Tennessee since I've been following this team (1977). He doesn't CALL the run plays! That's our Offensive Coordinator! Jeeze...

If Worley starts, and you have to figure he will, I would look for them to line up early in the play clock so Chaney can see the D alignment, then Worley will get the play/adjustments from the sidelines.

Im sorry, I guess you know more than Derek Dooley. Ill make sure to let him know that we need you on the sidelines.

Possible. They will definitely try and slow the game down with Worley.

Simms is "great" calling in run plays. What does that mean? I hope we don't have to sacrifice a whopping 92 yards rushing. Ridiculous

Matt Simms can see the holes and audible into good running plays better than any quarterback we have. Im not making this up, even Dooley said this.

92 rushing yards against the best rush defense in the league is bad???

No, I don't know more than Coach Dooley. I do, however, know that Matt Simms doesn't call his own plays in the huddle. He MAY audible into one, but that would be the exception rather than the rule. We committed to the run more the past two weeks because we cannot...REPEAT...CANNOT...throw the football with Matt Simms in the game. Statistics don't lie.
