Somehow they beat us 63-10.

Do you think the embarassment of losing to the Little 10 in the Outback Bowl in front of everyone watching on ESPN be enough to get Fulmer fired.

I dont think our morale could be any lower,if we head into 2008 with that on our backs, not even if we get blown out by Wisconsin but just losing to Wisconsin is enough.

We're not going to get blown out . . . We're not going to fire the head coach.

No...No wisconsin won't beat us that bad...if they did No it will not cost CPF his job (not at this time)...and No No No! I can't stomach the thought of losing our first game of the 08 season to anyone, period. If we do we are 0-1 for 08...an ominous sign! GO VOLS - ORANGE PRIDE!

No. It's one game and sane people do not judge a 15 year head coach on one game.

Maybe its just me but im not confident in our bowl game or for next season, maybe other fans somehow have this feeling or maybe im just not a real fan idk

I just cant get excited about the 2008 season,I just dont think we have the talent that Georgia,Florida,Bama,LSU,and Auburn have heading into next season.

Our recruiting class this year is absolutely pitiful, and we're all hoping Crompton doesnt play as inconsistent as Ainge did.

idk, maybe a huge win over Wisconsin will raise my hopes but right now im just not sure

I don't know why you are worried about this year's recruiting class having a big effect on next year. You know as well as I do how much freshmen impact season's of UT football.

Lose a bunch of fourth quarter leads the way Glen Mason of Minnesota did his last two seasons there.

Last straw was blowing a big lead in their bowl game last season.

Minny fans called for his firing and it happened.

Suddenly they became the worst team in the league, in a down year.

But the fans got what they wished for last year.

I honestly think if Fulmer lost 63-10 he would be fired, or assassinated one.
Yeah my grandfather's brother Skip would surely do it.

Hes a former Vols player, and hes like 78 now.
He lives in Sevierville in a one bedroom shack, and he literally hates Fulmer and Ainge. He also hates Peyton Manning but loves Heath Shuler????
He doesnt like Fulmer because to him he doesnt embody what being a Tennessee HC is about. He is one of those old Tennessee guys who talks about General Neyland as if he were Jesus Christ.

His TV doesnt have color at all,I cant remember if it ever did.He watches the games at the local bar though.

I really think if Tenn lost that bad,he'd be waiting for their team plane to arrive with a shotgun in hand:crazy:

He may not shoot him,but he certainly will point it at him

If Wisconsin blows us out, nobody, including myself, would raise an eyebrow based on recent history.

Now, if Hawaii should somehow blow out Georgia that would be news and there possibly could be a split national championship. I am not saying it will happen but stranger things have happened.

I would LOVE to see that. UH crushes UGA by 30 and every team above them wins ugly, sloppy games. Yeah, I would love every minute of it. I have never hated the B(S)CS more than this year.

Hawaii has the same chance of being voted a share of the National Title that Rosie O'Donnell has of becoming Playmate of The Year.

Having been thoroughly brainwashed into Tennessee football since I was 6 years old, I never knew which General my relatives were talking about, when they mentioned the General...Neyland or Jackson. I usually took the safe side and bet on Neyland. In their book there were only 2 true generals Neyland and Jackson, Lee was from Virgnia as was Washington so they did not count and Bedford Forrest screwed his rep by starting the Klan. The General was not Jesus (southern baptist folks too) but then again they would quickly point out today Genral Neyland was not betrayed nor crucified, and had he been crucified it would have been by bama fans who could not nail two pieces of wood together so the General would have come off the cross too!:whistling:
