It will be the same as always..Bama had too many turnovers, they were looking ahead, they played poorly, they beat their self...Never any VOL credit were credit is due..But when we beat them a second time it will all change...GBO

i remember beating them in 96, and walking out of the stadium, all you heard was "yeah, well we're still Alabama". we just kept saying, and you "still got your azz kicked".

you just have to laugh. i know this, my company is based out of Dothan, and nothing would make me happier to be able to send a few pointed emails, make a few phone calls on Monday.....payback is long overdue.

You got that right! My family is comprised of a good many bammers. I remember that 1996 game well. As bammer did so often back then, they played well for about a half, and then folded like a cheap tent just as soon as we took the lead. And out came the excuses. Years later, in 2003, 2004, and 2006, they were chest beating after giving us fairly close games. Another fond memory was when the Vols went to Tuscaloosa for the first time in 1999 and beat them 21-7. And what did my bammer relatives say? That they "left points on the field"! :eek:lol: I can't wait to make a few phone calls tomorrow night!

One thing I have noted is the how overconfident (even by Bama standards) the Tide faithful are right now. I don't think I have heard one of them express any concern that they could lose this game. They are giving Tennessee no credit beyond that we are a better team than we used to be. Even during the Dooley years, I would hear some Bammers who would at least say that Bama could loose if they played poorly. The only real discussion going on down here this year seems to be how much they will beat us by.

They are ripe for a fall. I would love to see them amply provided with one in 24 hours.

I think they are subconsciously masking uneasiness with bravado. They are whistling past the graveyard IMHO.

It is time to once again shake the foundations of the world of College Football. They have forgotten all but the name of Tennessee. We have been ignored, ridiculed and mocked for far too long. Tomorrow, let them remember our name. Let the towers of the mighty be shaken and let the proud tremble in fear. Break down the walls and remind the world who we are and what we stand for.

What is best in life? To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.

I honestly dont give a crap what they say. Because The records will show a W for Tennessee. Thats all that matters. There are no asterisks beside the game detailing how the game was won or lost.

Personally I don't care if a blown call breaks the streak and we win. So if we win we advance.

Sirius college radio to a man predicts blow out by Bama 42-17 range

I wish I had a list of all of the "experts" picking an Alabama double digit win. Would love to call them out one by one come Monday.

ps, for people unfamiliar with the Alabama mentality, let me give you a language prediction.....

Alabama will not "LOSE" the game. They will "GIVE THE GAME AWAY". Just be prepared to hear this A LOT after we win.
