Will it even matter?

I almost think the coaches are playing to lose, so they can use the recruiting pitch of "this team sucks, I want my players on the team"

Will losing to KY cause any concern for the pro-CBJ crowd? Or is this season a wash regardless of what happens?

Because I've heard fans say both so far. And to me, losing to KY is never a wash

Either think it don't but make up your mind so we can determine if we should take any more of your posts seriously.

Keep calm and wait for Gruden.
Yea I've got friend who plays golf with Haslam, says Gruden has already signed the contract ink ... is dry ... Do we really have to go through that bunch of BS and associated BSers again?

I'd like to think this group of Vols will suck it up, display some personal pride, kick the Cats around, and go out as winners.

Maybe the coaches do not know how to coach...

This team over the last few years has hit so many lows. Let's just get this nitemere over with. 8 losses. Who cares. Next year we go undefeated in the forums. We get a number one recruiting class. And we get Gruden. Have I forgot anything else. Oh yeah we get fulmer as oline coach. And apparently musChump as d coordinator. Sarcasm. Sarcasm. Sarcasm.

Losing to Kentucky is never acceptable but I expect it at this point.

It'll be just another arrow in the quiver to shoot at Jones during the off season.

Kentucky will treat it like they do every year as their bowl game and I have seen a lot better Vol teams struggle against them at home. Manning nearly lost once or twice.

You think.... the coaches....are playing.... to lose.... Who could disagree with this piece of brilliant analysis?

In that same vain, I think I'm gonna get up in the morning, shower and shave, get a bite to eat...... and go to work to get fired.

PLEASE STOP WITH THE I WANT GRUDEN BS. Grider had absolutely no empathy for his own players and was raked over the coals by his players on his way out the door here in Tampa. Does not exude character the way Butch does. He's just not the mold of a college football coach that plays a role in developing character outside of football since 95% of players will not play on Sundays. He's a pure X and O's coach. Personality of a porcupine. Likes to hear himself talk. Not humble. See the dude out a lot in my area, bump into him in the airport every once in a while. And as prominent as he is in this area and as bad as the Bucs suck this year his name is never in dialogue as a potential rehire here. He's a Charlie Weis to me. Has the ring, is arrogant, and would be a long term fail as a coach in the college ranks.
