If Deanthony plays like he did last week all year, they will find a place for him too. So add 4 amazing recievers we would have. Not to mention Vincent Dallas has shown alot of pontential too. We may have the strongest 5 wide set in the country.

If Patterson comes it will be crazy because Arnett is gonna bring it. It will definitely be Wide Receiver U again.

The passing offense will be absolutely sick. We have to hope that the run blocking of the OL improves to allow Marlin to shine.

If Maggitt and Johnson play up to their potential and the defense can make a couple of stops per game, we could outscore anybody.

Lots of ifs, but at least we have a foundation for potential success.

I just want to second what many have said on this thread. I started watching UT when they ran the single-wing, and guys played both offense and defense. So much has changed, but one thing has not: you entertain the crowd with offense; you win games with defense.

We had plenty of defense when Fulmer got fired...for losing too many games. So, that adage is worthless. You need BOTH. Even the best defenses cannot carry a team that goes three and out all game long.

Absolutely!!! Defense may have kept us in some games in 05 but we still lost 6 of them. Offense was horrible.
