I've stuck with 10-2 the whole time and thought we might sneak off a win against Bama.
Which means we would screw around and lose to someone like Missouri. I'll get over it for a Bama win.

I'm changing my answer.
If we get *A win over Bama, I want it to be in the SEC Championship game.

Look back at some of my posts dating back to April. I predicted that we would go 10 -2 with losses to Florida & Alabama. I predicted we would meet LSU in the S.E.C. Championship game and win that one. And we would go to a major bowl game but not a play off game. And we would win that bowl game.
We would also have 10 players, NOW 9 players since O Brien is off the team, be drafted in the upcoming draft.

Yes, considering where we were last year and years past, this is a good feeling to go in to the off season with optimism.

I remember just a few short years ago being tickled to finish with the 6th win at the end of the season so we could go Bowling. That was with fingers crossed to win the last 1 of 2 games. :yikes:

Whatever it takes to win the SECE and get us to ATL where we have a shot at winning the SEC is what will make me happy. If 10-2 will do that, cool.

I'm comfortable with 10-2. Shows solid progress yet again in Butch's program rebuild.

But I'm really happy with 10-2 and winning the East / trip to Atlanta for a shot at the SEC.

Anything above that, like 11-1 and/or SEC champs...totally ecstatic.

NOT IF, but we will be 10-2.............just too many injuries to overcome for BAMA, but if we were completely healthy like they are right now, then I'm throwing all the chips on the table for that BIG ORANGE.................

10-2 was my prediction for the season, and we were in a whisker of (very likely) exceeding that Saturday.

Having said that, the opportunity to widely exceed my expectations is right in front of us this coming Saturday.

This team can make this one of the most successful seasons in Tennessee history. It's just one win away. :rock:

I've also felt this way for a solid year. I think our boys feel like they let it slip away last year and want to prove they are really that good.

My pre season prediction was actually 10-2 losing the last game and this one. Where we have been as a program I'd be very happy

If we went 11-1 and we had to look at the aTm game knowing Tennessee should have won by 14 would hurt.

10-2 is fine its progress no matter how you look at it.

Washington has played only 1 team with a winning record. The teams they have played have a combined record of 12-17. Take away the Washington loss they are 12-12. Look at the comparison between the Rutgers game for them and Michigan.

10-2 and playing in the SEC title game would make me very happy.
11-1 and playing in the SEC is icing on the cake.

Though what I really wish for is 14-1 and a victory in the championship game in Tampa. :)
