Florida's been in the crapper plenty of times in the past 5 yrs, and got beat by a big east team in a bcs bowl (and they thought they should have been in the NC?)...doesn't keep them from recruiting fairly well, from the shiitter.

You need to do some research.

If we do not finish in the top 20 in recruiting do not blame the current coaching staff. I blame 2 people.

1. Mike Hamilton for 2 bad hires. Lane Kiffin was his 1st hire. While Lane looked like he would turn us around. Lane became fools gold when he bolted for USC after one year. This did more damage to our progam than any good he did for the program. The other bad hire was Dooley

2. Dooley- every minute he was our head coach, he devalued this program. He was a good in the home recruiter. He could pour on the charm when he wanted to recruits or to the media. But we lost ground in recruiting because his coaches were not making contact with high school coaches and his staff misevaluated in recruiting. Plus he could not coach a lick!!!!

I hope and believe that we will win at least 7 ball games next year and have a good recruiting class next year.

You guys can bash Dooley all you want......But he left our program in much better shape then when he found it.

This is in the running for the stupidest post I've ever seen. Dooley was a freakin' nightmarish disaster for this program. His 3 pathetic keystone cop years on the field combined with his horrendous recruiting methods have set us back at least a total of five or six years in getting this program back to being respectable. (counting his 3). We ought to sue his lazy elitist a-- for failure to perform his contractual duties !!!

You are absolutely correct. This program is in much better shape then it was when Dooley arrived (but apparently still not good enough shape for bearcat coaches to step in and recruit against actual SEC coaches - so let's blame Dooley for Hart hiring CBJ and the rest of the bearcat crew as well).

I think we should pay him 5 mil.....oh wait. But seriously, anyone who thinks that d bag left us in better shape than when he arrived is downright brain dead.

He recruited zero off linemen last year. Lets see how they feel after next year when the off line is gone. Rival coaches are pressing that point, and people wonder why we can't sign an elite back.

Didn't we get 5 or 6 the year before that? I'm not arguing that it's championship calibet, but top to bottom the roster is better

Florida has been to a bcs bowl 3 of the last 5 years. Tennessee has had a losing season 4 of the last 5 years. Stick to using jorts as some sort of insult.
