If we cant get rid of Dooley

The A.D. doesn't want to show support for Dooley because Dooley's security depends on the last four games of this season.
If the A.D. publicly makes an ultimadum, then he will be bound by that statement.
So, the A.D. is not doing interviews. This is a way to avoid answering the questions.

So Title says If we can't get rid of Dooley what is best option. One of the Options reads Cheek and Hart finally Man up and fire Dooley. If that happens wouldn't it mean Dooley has been gotten rid of?

Just out of curiosity, when I rate this as a 1 star terrible thread does that actually do anything? Are there repercussions for repeatedly starting useless threads with no information and no discussion?

Absolutely! Dave Hart has been silent far too long. He either needs to offer some kind of public support for Dooley and the team... or he needs to have Dooley resign now, effective at the end of the last game of the season. Then, if Hart has Dooley's replacement selected, he should announce who it is as soon as possible in order to enhance recruiting efforts.

For Hart to continue to not say anything to the fan base regarding Dooley's status is bound to be hurting our recruiting efforts, and we may lose some of our current commits... They have not yet singed a LOI... so they can de-commit to UT and go elsewhere.

Dave Hart needs to get off the fence - one side or the other. GO Vols!

You assume we all want to have him fired or in agreement with you on his coaching ability, I for one see loads of overall improvement since he arrived and I for one would rather have incremental improvement and it take 2 to 3 more years than the unknown of a new coach. So I guess none of your options are selectable for me.

Totally agree. Either in or out and gotta do it quick!!!!! The negativity around the Coach is effectin recruiting!
