What's our record? I understand that this is hypothetical but I want to see where people think we stand. People say we are in the SEC but fact of the matter is our side is trash! Georgia = garbage Florida = garbage.. I am glad we beat our rivals, I am but I want to know if we are even a .500 team on that side of the league?

Texas A&M game proves we can play with the rest. Bama is on whole different level. I'm not scared of any of the others.

Think we're 3rd in the West. Can't tell you who's second, because the parity on that side is unreal

If healthy we are probably 2nd or 3rd best team in entire SEC. Just happens to be the year we play the best and 2nd best with multiple injuries

We are 0-2 against the West so far this year. Against LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss. St., and Arkansas, I would think we might win 2 or 3.

That's like saying the Appy State game proves we would struggle in the Sun Belt.

Honest assessment is the only team we should be able to beat Miss State. But Arkansas would overpower us (like they did last year), Ole Miss would beat us as badly as we lost today. Auburn and LSU could go either way. We have talent to play with them, but there is something missing this year as seen in the struggles against Appy, Ohio, etc. we may yet go .500 against the East We need to fix some things and start playing a full ball game

Although the league is one, it is interesting how one division seems to have dominance for a while. Back in the 1990s Florida, Tennessee, and probably Georgia were better than any team in the West. Now the tide has turned. Some of it must be "keeping up with the Joneses." Alabama has big strong lines so Arkansas and Texas A&M and LSU go get those kinds of players. The East is more finesse, and right now that ain't working. But the tide will swing back.

Well we already lost to the top 2. We wouldn't beat Ole Miss and would probably lose to Arkansas. Auburn would even give us fits. So glad we are in the East.

Considering we'd be playing two East teams in that eight, i think this is just a nega post turned up on high.

Without injuries we're a dang good football team. If this question was posed prior to the Bama game, I highly doubt you would have the same opinion you just posted.

We would beat Miss St. and the 2 east teams. After that its hard to say. Might split OM, Arky, LSU, AU. Already lost to A&M and Bama so 4-4 give or take a game.

Before or after the injury fqctor? If UT was healthy they would have beaten A&M. Arkansas... gosh you never know who shows up.
Ole Miss LSU and Auburn are avg.

I was referring to 2 or 3 wins within the division. We have already lost to A&M and Alabama. I don't see us beating Ark or Ole Miss. I would feel fortunate if we won 2 of 3 against Auburn, LSU, and Miss. State. Of course, one of those 7 wouldn't be in the West if we were.

State is pretty bad. 4-4 to 5-3 tops.

VA TECH 65- VOLS 45
OHIO 42- VOLS 30
OLE MISS 70- VOLS SCARED TO SCORE
LSU 25- VOLS PUNT ON 1st down
AGGIE 44- VOLS...it's to late
BAMA 49- PELLISSIPPI STATE 10

sound about right?
