Really, the only thing I'd maybe pick at from HC standpoint is I wish JH were as aggressive in play calling as he was in early years. We rarely go for it on 4th down w/ a pretty proficient rushing/passing game. Can't argue w/ 5-1, but when we didn't go for it on 4th and one in ARK territory, and then literally after a punt that was a touch back and ARK was back where the ball was on 4th down after one play, was just frustrating. I know the mentality was make Ark chew clock, but then we play really bad D, just sets you up for potentially bad things.

I do know he has some flaws late in games with a lead, but overall he's been incredible. We literally rose from the ashes of 2020 and are playing consistent top 15 in the nation football, while having excellent recruiting and top of the nation level offense.

I don't think we've hired a coach since Doug Dickey that could have turned us from the titanic into a speed boat in so short a period of time.

Correct in football. Pearl did it in basketball and Vitello in baseball.

What, do you mean by “Let’s do the damned thing”. What is the damned thing of which you speak? Are you suggesting we fire CJH? Surely not. If so, who do you hire.

That punt bothered me a bit. I don't recall the exact yardage but with the ball going into the end zone we didn't gain much. Did we take a delay of game before the punt?

There are only 3 in college football. Day can't beat UM, Kirby can't beat Bama, and then there's Dabo. You want Dabo instead? What other no championship coach you taking over CJH right now?

He's not so different than Kiffin. Same type offense and when either can get a D to match their offensive prowess, they are trouble. So hard to stack all the cards every year w/ the portal being like it is and injuries just throws much out the window w/ lack of depth. ND, PSU, Clemson, Vols, Bama, UGA and other teams, who, on paper you thought would have good to dominant D's ...just because of returning talent and or replaced talent, then just looks bad is a head scratcher. Saban nailed it some on Gameday when he said some successful teams are going back to being a hammer on offense w/ RB's as a way to attack how D's have adjusted to "play station" offenses, in order to balance their attacks.

Who IS a championship coach right now?

If you haven’t noticed there is a tremendous amount of parity in college football in 2025 and talent has been spread among teams like never before.

Get used to 3 point SEC victories and be thankful when you get them.

The leading rusher for bama against Missouri today was 85 yards. Simpson threw for 200yards. Missouri threw 2 interceptions. Went 1/10 on 3rd down and still had a chance to win and ended up losing by a FG.

Don’t put Bama on a pedestal this isn’t 2009,2015, or 2020.

Well I was just answering the question. I have no interest in Lane Kiffin ever roaming the sidelines in Neyland except as a opposing coach. He never has a good enough defense either. We'd be trading apples for apples except for the morally bankrupt part. That's all Kifturd..
