If volnation was a paysite

because the members would all be diehard Vol fans and they wouldn't like or tolerate anybody who doesn't toe the party line. It would be become like the Lady Vols site on scout--pathetic; a bunch of middle-aged women who sleep with their Pat Summitt bears every night, don't know anything about basketball, and don't want to talk basketball. They just ADORE Pat--and you must ADORE Pat to stay on the site or the gay woman with heavy eyebrows who runs it will kick you off.

Speaking of which, anybody who pays $100 a year for Scout ought to have his or her head examined. The biggest ripoff in publishing. You could subscribe to three or four great national magazines for that much money.

We don't typically allow much leeway to opposing fans who are obviously trolls. However, we don't ban them instantly upon joining either. If you have an issue with a smack-talking opposing fan, you can "report" a post from that poster and the mods will take a look at it.

There's a non-sports board I am on that has a "time-out" forum. If you break a rule, a mod can send you to time-out for a period of time and you cannot post in any other forums. People not in time-out can visit in the time-out forum and poke sticks at the inmates.

Might not work everywhere, but we have a lot of fun with it.

do you think the trolls would still come on here. In the past there was the occasional troll that you learned to ignore, but since this latest fiasco, it seems there are more than ever. I personally would rather pay than have to listen and sort through all their garbage. What do you guys think.

im wouldn't pay for thread after thread of kiffin bashing and skepticism.
