It's like a Florida fan posted on their message board during the UT vs UF game last week.

While the other Gators fans were whooping it up while they had a 21-0 lead, he said he felt like the game would be a boxing match and that Tennessee had gone 12 rounds already and UF had not. It turned out to be a very prophetic statement.

The Aggies have been tested a bit and went to OT vs UCLA, but UT has been in slugfests that go the distance for 5 games in a row.

I hate the matchup for a number of reasons, but I'm going to watch on Saturday expecting another gritty win.

Ridiculous negative crap!!!! We're in the driver's seat UGA needs us to lose three and Florida almost lost to Vanderbilt be happy it's much easier

While I am ecstatic with how the last two weeks have gone, I do not want to be satisfied with just what we have accomplished so far. Obviously, I am not going to be torn apart should we lost to two teams that might be better than us, but the goal with the talent on this team should still be an SEC championship and a playoff berth. We are right where we need to be, just need to fix some mistakes.

I am extremely nervous about this Saturday's game but I am not ready to chalk it up as a loss yet. A&M is a great team but they haven't been tested quite like we have. We will see what they are actually made of in a few days.

Both of you are right. I just don't want to let the "right now" get past me. We are nearly to the halfway point of this football season. It's going that fast! And it's been phenomenal!

Nobody lives or dies by Tennessee football. At the end of the day we're a group of people drawn together because we love the Vols.

I am so proud of these guys. There are so many remarkable stories from the young men on this team. Do yourself a favor and search them out. And I am proud of our coaches. I honestly believe the men and women working with this program want the very best for our student athletes and do every single thing they possibly can to make them successful.

Having said that, I hope we give the Aggies HELL!!
