I wouldn't call it hotseat, but Mark Richt needs to win for his own good tomorrow. We discussed it on another thread, but I will repeat it again. Almost every coach that has entered the league the last 5 years, has made their teams relatively better than they were, or have remained idle. At the same time, most schools with a 5+ yr coach have gotten worse.

Spurrier's slid, Fulmer's slid, Tubby's slid, and Mark Richt sits on the threshold.

This was to be UGA's year. Another blown season courtesy of UT would piss me off if I was a UGA fan. We think it's bad losing 4 in a row to UF, a team who won a NC 2 years ago. Imagine getting beat by Fulmer...AGAIN.

They have to win for this reason alone.

You know what UGA's problem is, they have been so cocky, looking at #1, that they overlooked getting by #2. Yeah, I said it. Most years UT is #2 behind UF. This year will probably be different.

Richt is so far from being on the hotseat that his rear end has frostbite.

Richt isn't even close to being on the hotseat. You are crazy

There are frozen mammoths buried in Eastern Siberia that are feeling more heat than Richt.

I clearly said that I would not call it being on the hotset, but another lose tomorrow is how it always starts with the fans. For his own good, he needs the win.

Fan inferiority is a crick in the neck for a program. We should know.

I'm sure a thousand people in GA this week have been heard saying this:

"If we get beat by UT this year,______________________"

1. Fulmer
2. Tuberville
3. Croom
4. Richt
5. Spurrier

Nobody else qualifies in the least. Brooks will retire either this year or next and everyone else is solid for a while.

I agree Richt won't be on the hotseat, but every year they don't win, I keep hearing grumblings in the fanbase. Working for a sports talk station here in the "A" has brought me closer to the destestible sort that is Dawg nation. The fans don't think there is any way they lose this weekend. If ourboys found a way to pull the miracle off, the reaction down here would be awesome to see.

Which one, 790 or 680?

Richt's choked away several opportunities for bigger years, losing to Zook twice. If he loses to UT, the fans will be in a state extreme anger.
