in the last 4, which is not out of the realm of possibility after last night's abomination, then surely Butch is out. Right?

We got to have AD in place first. I hate Butch and want him gone but still don't see new AD firing Butch Jones as soon as he gets here. No hopes for next season with this staff.

If Butch goes 1-3 that would put him at 6-6 on his judgement year. He would be fired for sure. This was his final exam and he made below basic.

That would mean he has had one season where he didn't meet most reasonable people's expectations. You don't bounce a coach for one bad season. I don't think CBJ is the man but I do know he took over a terrible program.

He has definitely made the program respectable again, but damn last night felt a lot like the Dooley years.

Fire him and hire Ed Ogeron as the interim coach for next year. That guy has a tremendous winning record as an interim coach

The fans and now even the team has lost faith in Jones

I don't see that happening, but at least the Big O would keep things interesting and he definitely knows how to get his players motivated.

Gave our kentucky tickets to my hair stylist as a Christmas gift. We won't be able to go to the game. Now I'm thinking it might not be considered a "good" gift. :cray:

We will have Butch for another year or 2 anyway...I do however expect we wil see several staffing changes in the off season. We will have a different OC next season. Perhaps move Debord to OLine coach and fire Mahoney and hire an OC. Thats just my opinion though.

That looked like a Dooley-esque game. No energy, lack of focus, stupid penalties/mistakes.

That could work out. Definitely have to get rid of Mahoney. He has destroyed our OL potential the last 2 years.

I don't think so. Honestly I think he would have to go. 0-4. . Besides he has the injury excuse this year.

In order for the offense to be relevant Jones needs to hire a good OC and a damn QB coach. He also needs to have nothing to do with the offense. He fired a decent oc in mike bajakin because he had half a brain. Our wr production and passing game dropped off quick right after.

Sure you do. You are able to gauge whether a coach is going to make it based on his first recruiting class being Seniors. Aside from Butch spending a couple of million to buy a new staff, there is nothing he has done to tell us he will get the job done year after year.

If this happens... Tell Hart he can move on December 31. Bring David Blackburn in and let him make the next hire.
