I wonder what we would all be complaing about?

Some people never have anything positive to say, and i imagine those people were saying the same things in 98.

You know the offense is outdated etc...

Thoughts...

undefeated and heading into the title game tends to reflect differently on the staff and program in general. the malaise you see today has been 9 years in the making.

Nobody complains when your undefeated but they do complain when you get blown out by your biggest rivals.

Apparently 9 years is not long enough when you win a championship. Around here, if you win a championship then you get 15 years to do whatever you want to even if that doesn't include SEC championships, wins over your rivals, bowl wins, or BCS bowls.

I'm not talking about after the year was over. I'm talking about during the year.

I bet you there were plenty of complaints after the syracuse game. Hell there were people on here complaing after the south carolina game and we won it.

Well I was at the SC game and I still dont know how we won that game. We played without emotion and should have gotten beat. I told my dad after the game, that I felt like we lost that game.

No. Not at all.

The '90's were the glory years for UT football. The complaints you speak of come from what has been presented to us in the past 7 years.

Well, I cant really remember a game in which we played that bad in 98. You brought up Syracause but they were great that year. You will always have someone complain no matter how good you are. The 98 team didnt always bring their A game but they didnt give up like the 07 team has in some games.

if there are things to complain about, then why can't we complain about them? What makes it so wrong? All I hear is all this yapping about how we are going to be fine, don't worry Phil will right the ship next year. Then next year comes, and next year goes. I want to be a top program again, not a perennial Outback Bowl contender.
