If They Fight, We Fight - Need Y'alls Help

I know this season's been rough and it's hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but our football team needs us more than ever.

I watched Coach Pruitt’s emotional press conference after the Georgia Game today about how our players kept fighting and I had never really stopped and thought about what the players have gone through.

For them to have been part of the worst season in Tennessee History and how this season has gone, it’d be easy for them to roll over, but they’ve kept on fighting regardless of what the scoreboard says. The reality is that all we can ask of our players is that they give their all.

So I want to do something to show our team and the world that no matter how difficult things get that we stand by our Tennessee Vols no matter what.

I want to send a message from Volnation, that if the players and coaches fight, we fight with them. And I need y'alls help to do this.

I’m not asking for money and I’m not even asking for that much effort.

And if you’ve already given up and already decided to take a break this season, that’s ok, this isn’t for you.

But if you stand by the team no matter what or if you want to do something, ANYTHING, to try and inspire our team here’s what I’m proposing :
-Make a short video and in the clip say, “IF YOU FIGHT, WE FIGHT! NO MATTER WHAT! GO VOLS!" The clip doesn’t have to be fancy or long, just a few seconds on a camera phone is fine.
-Make sure you’re in Tennessee gear
-Upload and email it to TNVolForEver@gmail.com
-I’ll stitch the video together with all of our clips (although if there’s anyone here with some video editing skills that’d be great because I’m a bit of a novice. I may even try to get in touch with the University video department)
-Share this message with your Vol friends

I don’t know if this will really make an effect in terms of Wins and Losses. And I know some of y'all will think this is stupid.

But how can I ask our players to give their all while I'm over here sitting around doing nothing. It doesn't matter if the road looks rough right now, if our players and coaches want to keep fighting, then I want to fight with them.

But I need y’alls help too. So send in your video and let's show our guys we've got their backs! Go Vols!

Ok you're right sorry, I'm just a little sensitive I've never tried anything like this before. And a little embarrassed for trying honestly...

But I just want to do something more to show our players that we've got their backs. Especially now where we'll probably not selling out a game for a while.

All good bro...no need to be embarrassed..we need to be able to laugh at ourselves a bit. I.got your message...imo fans always do their part

I see what your saying. I wasn't trying to imply that the fans have done a poor job showing up or anything. I was just saying it'd be cool to start something from the fans to further support our players

I got to florida (notice the capitlized letters) this afternoon and did not the know the final score. till later I am proud of our boys. I will walk away and proudly show my colors proudly down here. Met a few gator fans. Having fun with it. Most gator fans are tough to handle. These are OK When you go to Gainesville, it ruins the experience. It's not a true college town. We are rebuilding, again I'm afraid. Let's give CJP all our support and hope for the best. Go Vols!

The Volunteer faithful have been with the team throughout this era of mediocrity. The fact that we are still here is a testament to the strength of the fanbase. The team does need to give us something to be excited about, however. Living on hope is hard. I will be interested to see how full (empty) Neyland Stadium is the rest of the season. I’m coming down from D.C. with the family in November for the Kentucky game.
