It's Los Angelas. Did anyone see that pathetic turnout and tame crowd at Gameday? Further solidifying their pathetic nature is the fact that they failed to sellout tonights game, and have had a combined 44,000 empty seats in 3 home games this year. I can't do much outside of shaking my head at that fanbase.

May the football gods allow the Ducks to blow those clowns out. Kill that program for good.

I would expect more considering this game today is their bowl game...would expect their biggest turnout of the year to see Southern Cal potential knock the Ducks off....

....guess they don't care....

Now will this be your tone if USC manages to kick Oregon all over the field? :)

jk. I'm pretty sure this one will be close to some degree.

Yes. I hate USC, always have, always will.

I to think it will be close. There's a large chance the Ducks lose, but I pray there's some poetic justice and Kiff and company get obliterated by 70 points.

Anyone who gets up at 7 AM local time to go watch a pregame show should be mandated to commit suicide. Get a life.

Eugene was rockin' when they hosted it there. Lord knows Vols fans would be their in full force regardless of what time it started.

SC has been successful enough over the years they don't feel the need to go out for every ESPN show. Oregon hasn't been as successful and the fans are appreciative for every second ESPN gloats about them.

If you held Gameday at 7 A.M. in Knoxville, the only people present would be UTPD and drunks stumbling upon the set on their way home.

Actually starts at 6am and it was rainingm
How dare people in a city where going to Gameday ranks roughly 10.947,888th on the list of interesting things to do not get up at daybreak and go stand in the rain? Awful fans.

To be fair, their fans do seem really fair weather. Didn't attendance really suck before Carroll?

Yes, as it should have. Going to watch bad football isn't an idication of great fans, it's an indication of a city with not enough good entertainment options.

I'm not sure I'd go that far, but it just seems like a pro sports town, anyways.

Its a Lakers town, and it stops at that. Other than them, if you're doing well, people will come and see you, if not, they won't.

I can't think of anything that chaps the rear ends of SEC honks more than the fact that a place like Los Angeles has a program with more tradition and success in their history than all but one of the SEC's members, yet they have the equivalent fanfare of an NHL franchise or mediocre MLB team.

For the record, at 7am, the average USC honk is driving his BMW 5-series with vanity plates to grab an early breakfast at Santa Monica or a jog on the strand in South Bay.

Their attendance was never this bad under Carroll. 44,000 empty seats in 3 games? That my friend, is unheard of.

Check the numbers under Larry Smith and Paul Hackett. That's what we were talking about. Keep up.

It's not exactly stellar even now. I heard a couple days ago there were still plenty of tickets available for the game today. Which blows me away considering how so many Trojans are crowing about this game being their bowl game and what not.

I've never paid attention to it before, but on tv it looks almost criminal where USC puts the visiting team fans there in the Coliseum.

Looks like the Oregon fan section is behind the endzone on the side of the field where the stadium is empty (and bleachers run behind the endzone).
