If the unthinkable happened

I've been waiting along time for the Vols to play some solid football. Who is to stay that it can't happen Saturday?

There are hundreds of programs that won't get a chance to beat the gumps this year. I'm glad we do. This feels like the year we get the W.

Noone can say definitively if we will play solid football on Saturday. However, using the past as an indicator of potential future performance, it is not likely and anyone that says it is is lying to themselves.

I think they have to put more on our QB. He needs to read the defense and get us in a play that will work against that particular D.

That was one of the good things that came from the Fl game, QD changed the play at the goalline to increase our chances of scoring. 7 blockers for 9 defenders is a bad idea. Had we executed the rub properly and the Fl defender not held Callaway it would have worked. We all saw what happened. That's why we booed QD in games after that.

1. You shouldnt boo college kids

2. Has it occurred to you our qbs are not that good? Likely due to coaching.

That is a possibility to consider. Our QB's and WR's timing has been off. Just like good comedy timing is everything(That goes for everything,).

I keep harping about the player's free time. It's missed opportunities due to them not making better use of their free time.

I blame the coaches for that.

We have 3 losses, 2 of which were within our grasps to win. With consistent play and some creative adjustments by the player leaders of the team, this gump game could end with us being the winner.

We'll see if they can pull it together by Saturday.

I expect they will and look foward to a huge win in Gumpsaloosa.

Go Vols!

We will be lucky to get a field goal. Butch's Waterloo won't be Alabama, it'll be a loss at Kentucky.

Hypothetically, I am thinking more about what to do with my lottery earnings Saturday!

Boxerpupsrcool, D4H, and you are vying for worst poster spot. I thought yesterday, boxer had it locked up... Now, not so sure

Its odd that you would harp so much on player free time. If the coaches ran a more effective program we would worry about the players free time. The players need time away from their sport as well.

Alabama is better than us at every position on the field. We are not a good football, like not even a little. Even if we "put it all together" this game is still highly likely to be a loss.

Ill take a win however they can get it, but it is not likely, at all.

When is the last time a good team overlooked UT?
It doesn't happen.

It shows that, as a program, UT has respect even if the current coach doesn't. Everyone in the SEC is nervously hoping the UTAD continues to botch this (or should I say, "Butch this."). The SC shirts saying "keep Butch" evidence this. It's funny because it's true.

Worst poster is D4H and you know it. Don't come in here giving boxer grief(I'm not familiar with his posts at all.)by comparing his posts to D4H.

Depends does he beat bama but then stil loose to Vandy ? Then the answer would be yes he should still go

Say a miracle happens and we beat bama saturday would you still want butch fired?

Maybe IF it were a three legged sack race. It's football so we don't have snowball's chance in Hell of beating the Criminal Turds. 253 yards TO vs.the average cocks and the performance to date dispels optimism .

Knowing our luck, watch us upset Bama and then Butch get a contract extension.

Regardless, I want him gone.
