I thought Mizzou gave us a big heck no.

Was that just my imagination or are my facts screwed up?

Missouri said no to save their own asses... They have neither publicly supported the Big XII staying together nor shown willingness to sign away their tv rights to the conference, either. They are most definitely still open and looking around.

MISSOURI ISNT COMING

AND JUST TO ADD

NEITHER IS ANY ACC TEAM

The options are very slim for the SEC for the 14th team.

I think Va Tech would be the best fit to keep both divisions balanced and gain a new TV market.

I thought all the remaining big xii teams signed away their tv rights....could have heard wrong.

They are gonna have to rename the East and West divisions to That Division and This Division to alleviate confusion.

OU said mizzou said no....that was about it

They've (mizzou) been saying a conference move is a possibility to be considered (the idea of signing away their 1st and second tier tv rights while Texas gets to keep an unshared network was bothering them)

They should leave the teams where they are now and put Texas A/M in the west and Missouri in the east.

No, Mizzou said... "Wait, hey, what... um, yeah, I like you but it's complicated... wait, phone's ringing... HEY, one sec... *whisper* I gotta take this... HEY, no, no, no one is hear... no, the SEC is NOT here... NO, NO, ok... you're still my daddy big 12... I said it... no... OK, YOU'RE STILL MY DADDY, BIG 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

sigh

Exactly. They pretty much said they'd help support the big 12's continuation (or something along those lines) but when asked if Missouri would commit longterm to the conference / saw itself having a long future in the conference, they refused to comment, repeatedly

OU president said they had agreed to do so.

Missouri president came out afterwards (the OU president had interrupted his conference call) and said it had been talked about but nothing had been agreed or voted upon

 I would have thought A,m to the west, and Mizzou to the east. It makes too much sense for that to happen though.
